The days of wrestling hash oil out of the jar like a stoned taffy puller or combing through your carpet Honey I Shrunk the Kids-style because you spilled a handful of shatter are thankfully over. Oregon-based ILO vapes has developed an incredible -- dare I say revolutionary -- way of packaging concentrates that no longer requires you to handle your cannabis-derived concoctions directly.

Hell hath no fury like a stoner who has just had to dig his last nugget of honeycomb wax out of the carpet because the wad of sticky concentrate managed to fall off its dabbing tool. I mean, do you still fire it up -- carpet fuzz, cat hair and all -- or simply take the L and move on with your evening? Neither, you get yourself a tabletop cannabis vaporizer that doesn't require a menagerie of industrial tools to operate and which can be loaded as easily as a hash pipe.

Concentrates are the future of cannabis

The cannabis industry is in the midst of an unprecedented renaissance. Strains are stronger, consumption methods more numerous and availability greater than ever before. Medical-grade marijuana now averages around 20 percent THC -- a threefold increase from the "hippie weed" your parents toked back in the '60s. Smoking has been usurped by vaping and edibles as the preferred dosing methods, making the concentrates and oils more valuable commodities than the flowers they're derived from. The good times certainly are rolling, but how long can we keep up this relentless march toward pure THC distillate?

The Pax Era aims to be the Keurig of vaporizers

Out of all the ways to ingest THC, oil concentrates are far and away the messiest, stickiest and most irritating method. Unlike shatter, crumble or even wax, all of which maintain their shape and texture to some degree, oils have a knack for getting everywhere. It's especially tricky when you're trying to dribble minuscule amounts of oil into teensy Smurf-size cartridges used by mixed-media vapes (I'm looking at you, DaVinci Ascent). The new Era pen vape from Pax, however, solves that issue by taking a page out of the Keurig playbook and operating on a pod-based system.

It's crunch time and that big project has to get done. Next thing you know, you're on your favorite website, tinkering with Garageband or tweeting up a storm. We've all been there, but Roobasoft's Concentrate for the Mac is here to help! Concentrate is designed to help you "work and study more productively by eliminating distractions." The simple application offers a number of options to help you get down to business. With it you can: Quit applications that distract you such as games or web browsers. Run applications, and only the ones you need for your task. Open websites you need to use for work. Block websites that you know will distract you (ahem, Facebook) In addition to helping keep you on task by eliminating distractions, Concentrate takes it a step further to help keep you on the right track. Record spoken messages that help to keep you going. Play sounds to let you know how far you've gone. Alter your iChat/Skype status to keep friends from bugging you. The application supports Growl notifications and easily allows you to incorporate scripts to control almost anything. Additionally, you can customize different setups for different tasks. For example, I can set up a "Study" task that will block social networking sites and keep me on task with spoken messages while having another task called "Design" that keeps me working within applications like Photoshop or Dreamweaver. Concentrate sports an elegant interface and an intuitive system to set times and tasks. The developer promises that he has "big plans [for] a few updates to make it even better". Roobasoft offers a 60-hour free trial and the full applications sells for $29 with a money-back guarantee if you're not happy.

When I first saw this video, I couldn't believe how horrible the rapping was, or why it was in such a low voice. Curious, I checked out the music video that it was parodying, Concentrate, by Xzibit. It turned out that Nyhm's version is actually better by a long shot.Nyhm, rebounding from his disastrous Pretty Fly for a Draenei, decided to make a video, Assassinate, for the rogues. Apparently, he likes to hide out on alts and has grown to love the class. The machinima is designed to fit around the song. While not flashy, it does the job just fine.Excellent comeback to PFfaD, Nyhm![Via Warcraftmovies.com]Previously on Moviewatch ...
