In the US there's Black Friday, but in China, they get all their big online shopping discounts on November 11 aka "Singles Day" instead. As of 4:28am ET today, Alibaba's Tmall, the Chinese equivalent of Amazon, has already made over $11 billion which broke last year's record of $8.97 billion. As reminded by our friends over at TechCrunch, both numbers from that platform alone beat the entire US' online sales of last year's Thanksgiving and Black Friday combined. It's no wonder Alibaba could afford to hire Frank Underwood Kevin Spacey and James Bond Daniel Craig to kick off this year's party.

O2 and ThreeUK have announced that they'll be carrying Sony's Xperia T, the phone James Bond totes 'round in Skyfall. He's got a tough decision on his hands depending on which network he chooses, however, with O2 offering an exclusive tie-in edition of the handset with custom ringtones and pre-release images. On the other hand, he probably gets through plenty of data reading classified files and flicking through the Tom Ford catalogue, so perhaps he'd prefer Three's unlimited data. Either way, you can follow in the footsteps of your hero right now, with price plans starting from £30 per month.

If you wondered why Casino Royale's James Bond looked so incredibly sexy natural with a gun in his hand, there's a simple explanation: He'd already honed his shooting skills against the Covenant. In a recent interview, new 007 Daniel Craig admitted that he liked the occasional video game between his shaken martinis and seductions. "I play games. Hands up," he said. "I'm quite into ones that have a big fat story line." Even though he may know his right trigger from his left bumper, he's not exactly plastered to his couch. "It's just as well I don't have much spare time or I would probably fritter it away playing computer games," he said. No hard feelings, Dan. If we could take game breaks to be strikingly handsome and British, we totally would.

Sega is dishing out the goods yet again as they aim to bring another title to Nintendo's Wii console. This title, which is based on the upcoming movie starring Daniel Craig (who was in the amazing film Layer Cake and most recently played James Bond in Casino Royale), follows Lyra, a woman who finds herself unwillingly at the heart of a secret consipracy. Sega has revealed that the game will be released during the Christmas holiday later this year and be comprised of a total of 13 chapters for players to go through, which have been taken directly from the book the movie is to be based on. Shiny Entertainment, who were responsible for the highly-loved (by us, anyway) Earthworm Jim series of games, are handling development duties for the title on the Wii.
