Hulu announces two new Marvel shows including 'Ghost Rider'
Under an expanded deal with Marvel (which is under the wing of its majority owner Disney), Hulu has announced Ghost Rider and Helstrom shows, both of which are set to debut next year. They join other Marvel series including Runaways and several upcoming animated shows on the platform.
David Chang’s Netflix series ‘Ugly Delicious’ debuts February 23rd
David Chang, the chef and restaurateur behind the ever-growing Momofuku family of restaurants, has a new show in the works -- a Netflix series called Ugly Delicious. In the series, he'll travel the world eating at notable restaurants with writers, entertainers and other chefs and they'll explore topics like culture, authenticity and identity and how they relate to food. Chang told Eater that in more recent years, he had really begun to embrace the Korean food he grew up with but chose not to cook as a young chef. "As I've gotten older, I've embraced all the things that I truly love eating," he said. "I'm not embarrassed about it anymore. Now I'm just like, I don't give a fuck."
ASUS: Eee Pad Transformer delays due to demand, not component shortages
We're sure you heard the rumors when hanging out in your ASUS fanboy haunts, wearing your ASUS logo hats and medallions, talking your crazy ASUS lingo with your fellow ASUS scenesters. Or maybe you thought something was up when Amazon sold out immediately. Either way, there has been plenty of chatter in the gadgetsphere as of late about the Eee Pad Transformer. Why is it so hard to find? Are component shortages to blame? Quality control issues? We've heard plenty of speculation, and now ASUSTek spokesperson David Chang is weighing in on the matter. According to Netbook News, the company has seen overwhelming demand for the device, and is currently planning to put 100,000 units on the street in May, followed by an additional 200,000-plus in June. "If the demand continues to increase substantially," said Chan, "then we will have to continue to ramp up production in order to fulfill our customers' demand." You know, that's exactly what we would do if we were in that situation!
