Originally teased at Computex, NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 460M has just recently started to slip out into a limited amount of laptops, and naturally, Dell's Alienware line is amongst the first to get it. The almighty M15x can now be configured down in the source link with a 460M that boasts 1.5GB of GDDR5 memory, and best of all, it's only a $119.84 upgrade over the stock 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850. Mama always said frames per second were worth paying for, now didn't she? [Thanks, Zhi Hao]

Meet Pearce Clune, Dell's Head of Consumer Operations for Middle East, Africa, and Turkey. Clune's gone ahead and given a pretty brief demonstration of Alienware's laptop lineup to Shuffle Magazine, include the mighty impressive M11x powerhouse in netbook clothing. It's all pretty standard fare until about 2:20 into the video, where the fine gentleman casually drops that the Core 2 Duo processor is about to get a modern upgrade with Core i3, i5, and i7 options. That's right, a Core i7 processor in a 11-inch form factor. We'll let that sink in for a second. But don't just take our word for it -- video after the break. Now, is Optimus en route, too? [Thanks to everyone who sent this in]

So here it is, the M11x -- probably the closest you'll probably ever see Alienware get to a netbook, at least in size. You might actually be able to pull off some extended gaming sessions on the 11-inch screen -- it's certainly a crisp enough screen, from the time we spent with it -- but the real selling point here is plugging it up to an external monitor for your FPS / RTS / MMO needs and using it solo for productivity purposes. Of course it's a good bit heavier than other portables of the same size, but what do you expect with all it's trying to pack in? %Gallery-82002%
