We all remember the terrible tale of NXE-eve, when Superbad, Karate Kid and more went from fully available to not-on-Xbox and in some cases eventually disappeared entirely. Fear not, as whatever the licensing issue was, it appears to have been amicably resolved, sending Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and many of the rest flowing though a series of tubes near you.[Via Xbox 360 Fanboy]

Now that the PlayStation 3 will be BD-Live capable, Sony Pictures also announced this morning it's releasing its first two Blu-ray discs with the technology. On April 8, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and The 6th Day will both be released with exclusive downloadable content that will not be available on disc. According to the press release, this is just a preview of what's possible with Blu-ray technology, although any non-PS3 Blu-ray owners might wonder what's so good it couldn't fit on the 2-disc Dewey Cox set.

Okay, so the point of the Funny Or Die-hosted video "Backlash" isn't gaming-centric, per se, but it does center around various Judd Apatow alum and cast members of Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story playing the PlayStation 3 version of Rock Band together. Watch Justin Long sing, Jonah and Hill and Paul Rudd play the strings and Craig Robinson on drums. The Rock Band focus goes away once they start plugging their various projects, leading Robinson to suddenly realize he's part of a shameless viral marketing campaign and lashes out at Judd Apatow. For fan's of the director-producer's movies, the video is hilarious and we don't want to spoil it, so check it out yourself after the break. (Warning: NSFW)[Via Cinematical]
