Sprint continues to expand its in-home sales and service effort, making a trip to its retail stores a thing of the past. The carrier's Direct 2 You home delivery option is heading to seven more cities: Charlotte, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, Nashville, New Orleans, Pittsburgh and Salt Lake City. This means that if you're in those locales, the in-store experience comes to your home or office to save you a trip. Direct 2 You not only drops off your shiny new handset, but a Sprint employee can walk you through the setup, transferring contacts and answer any questions that may arise. The free service began back in April and is already available in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco and other major US cities. Sprint says it plans to take Direct 2 You to even more cities in 2016.

One of the ways that Sprint is hoping to revive its fortunes is with Direct 2 You, a service where door-to-door salespeople set up your phone from inside your home. The offering has added a fair few locations since its launch in April, and now the company is rolling it out to Atlanta, Boston, Houston and Philadelphia. That increases the range of the program by nearly five million more customers, with several more locations coming by the end of this year. It can't come soon enough, since Sprint is currently reeling from losing its coveted third-place spot to upstart rival T-Mobile -- a fact that hasn't gone unremarked on by the CEOs of either company.

Back in April, Sprint introduced Direct 2 You, a program that brings the phone-buying process right to your home. Since then, the service has launched in multiple places across the US, including Kansas City, Chicago, Denver, Miami, Los Angeles New York and San Francisco. Today we can add a few more cities to the list, as Direct 2 You will now be an option for customers in Dallas, Detroit, Tampa and Washington DC. With this expansion, the total of markets covered is 32 so far -- which, if anything, shows Sprint is committed to making its new program be a success.

Since not everybody loves going to a phone store, Sprint recently launched Direct 2 You to help you buy or update a handset from pretty much anywhere you want. It must have been on to something, as it just expanded it to four new cities: New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Denver. In addition, the service is now available to anybody, rather than just existing Sprint clients as before. Essentially, it lets you buy a new device, upgrade from an old one or get customer service from any location you want -- like your home or a ball field -- for free.
