The question of the best quest lines in World of Warcraft is a contentious one, as we all have our favorite (and least favorite) in-game moments, which makes creating a definitive list tricky. However, that's no reason not to give it a go and so Doronsmovies has rounded up his top 5 quest lines in a new video. While these aren't the most lore-heavy or, necessarily, most essential quests, they're all fun (or at least interesting) moments in World of Warcraft history. Even if you disagree with this particular list, it begs the question as to what your top 5 quest list would be. Would they contain any of the quests from Doron's list or would they be completely unique? Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! Sure, the World of Warcraft has plenty of villains, but there are plenty of heroes, too. And since without heroes, we probably wouldn't have much of an Azeroth at this point, I'm sure we're all pretty glad that Warcraft's heroic figures have stuck around. So to balance out his earlier video on villains, Doronsmovies has put together a list of the top 5 heroes in World of Warcraft. The list itself is debatable -- we've all got our favorite heroes, and a top 5 list doesn't have room for everyone -- but it does offer a nice look at some of the heroes of Azeroth and their lore. Have favorite heroes that didn't make the cut? Let us know about them in the comments! Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! There are a lot of villains in World of Warcraft, so many that Azeroth could start its own megalomaniacal villain academy. (Or has it already?) But just who are the worst of the worst? Doronsmovies tries to narrow down WoW's collection of bad guys into a list of the top five villains in this video, alongside the lore and stories behind each villain. Whether you're familiar with them or not, it's an interesting look into Warcraft's most villainous characters. But are these really the worst of Azeroth, or do you think Warcraft has worse to offer? Love to hate or just plain hate, WoW has plenty of bad guys to encounter throughout the game world, which makes it tough to narrow down. Interested in the wide world of machinima? If you aren't in the Warlords beta, you're stuck killing time until the expansion comes out later this year... which at this point is a bit yawntastic. However, there are some things you can do to get ready for Warlords of Draenor, and Doronsmovies has some tips. Sure, it's killing time, but what else is a WoW-player to do right now? If you'd rather check out beta footage, Doronsmovies has also done a Frostfire Ridge montage to give you a tour of the new horde zone. Though while the video embedded above has no expansion spoilers, the Frostfire Ridge video does show off new game content, so don't watch it if you're avoiding expansion info. • Doronsmovies delves into The History of Warcraft in new documentary

It's been twenty years since Azeroth was first introduced to the hearts and minds of gamers all over the world, and Youtube user Doronsmovies has put together a massive and in-depth look into the history of the Warcraft franchise. Weighing in at just over 40 minutes, the documentary dives right in with coverage of the early RTS games, starting with Orcs & Humans in 1994. Although we know quite a bit about those early games, and about the history of WoW itself, the movie also features a look at Lord of the Clans, a point-and-click adventure game that was actually never released -- including footage of the game itself, and some of the voice acting and animated scenes from the game as well. For those that have been playing Warcraft since the early days, the documentary might not have anything new to offer. But for those that have only just begun playing in recent years, or those that have only played World of Warcraft, there should be plenty of interesting tidbits to keep you entertained. And even if you're pretty familiar with all of Blizzard's Warcraft games over the years, it's pretty neat to see the progression from 1994 to now all encapsulated into one film. It's a lengthy watch, but hey -- twenty years is an awfully long time.

We don't feature all of the WoW lore lesson series because there's so many of them, but when notable subjects or particularly well-done videos come up, we want to make sure you see them. The lesson 84 about Winter Veil is especially nice. Whether because it's a nice way to wrap up the season, or the incredibly seasonal voice acting, I especially enjoyed this one. So while the lights are coming down and the dwarves are sobering up, drop by and see the reason (in WoW) for the season (in WoW). Thanks Doronsmovies!

It can be tough to get caught up on WoW lore. We're talking about a game and story that spans a decade. Between the books, the comics, and many iterations of games, figuring out who's who and what's going on can be a little difficult. Doronsmovies is trying to help tackle that issue with a series of videos called Warcraft lore academy. The series of videos talks about key characters in the stories, presenting these snippets of lore as a kind of machinima classroom. The videos are a great idea, even if they boil down to a character standing in a room with an accompanying voiceover. If you're trying to get started with the game's story, you could have a much worse way to start. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch!
