Demos for God of War III and Darksiders are up this week. Grandia's on PS One Classics. Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is half-price. There's Valkyria Chronicles and Uncharted 2 DLC. Echoshift is up on PSP. Basically, if you don't find something for you this week on the PlayStation Network, you probably don't own a PlayStation console. Choose your platform to view the corresponding release list: (Note: Continue past the break to view both release lists.)

The innovative time-bending puzzler Echoshift is coming to PSP this Thursday, February 25th, for $14.99. If you haven't tried the downloadable demo, there's still time to fix your mistake. Our very own JC Fletcher called it "one of the most engrossing games at Tokyo Game Show" -- and he has arguably the best taste on all of Joystiq. The full echoshift experience will feature 56 levels and "three different game modes" for each level. Noticeably absent in this release is a level editor, akin to the one found in Echochrome. We're going to complain to Sony, but in the meantime, you can watch a new trailer after the break.

Echoshift, a PSP-ified second-cousin to PS3 puzzler echochrome, will have a demo out sometime in February. A post on the PlayStation Blog notes the game will have 56 levels, with additional downloadable levels through PSN. Hopefully the game will receive the same extensive community support bestowed upon echochrome. As we noted in our hands-on, if you're looking for a primer to the game, feel free to try Yoshio Ishii's Cursor*10 or its sequel. %Gallery-68808%

Do you like playing with yourself? Sony hopes you do, as it's promoting "Self Co-Op" gameplay in its newly re-dubbed PSP game, echoshift. First revealed at E3, echoshift has players controlling echochrome's iconic mannequins and repeating past actions to solve puzzles. According to a recently released fact sheet, the final game will feature 45 levels and 30 kinds of puzzle types, with the promise of more content through post-release DLC. Perhaps we'll see the return of free user-created DLC, a la echochrome? There is no official word on a price yet, but considering the game's PSN exclusivity, we're expecting a lower point of entry than the average PSP game. Expect it this "Fall/Winter 2009."%Gallery-68808%

Trademark digger Superannuation has taken note of Echoshift, a new trademark filing by Sony Computer Entertainment America with the US trademark office. So, is it a new Echochrome title or, as some are speculating, a sexier name for PSP's Echochrono stateside? We asked SCEA for comment and a company rep replied, "We do not have any official announcements at this time."
