Uber reportedly reduced the number of sensors on its autonomous cars
Uber is facing some intense scrutiny after one of its self-driving cars struck and killed a pedestrian in Arizona ten days ago. The company (along with it's partner, NVIDIA) has stopped testing its autonomous vehicle in cities across the US, and the Arizona governor suspended the tests specifically in that state. According to a report by Reuters, Uber allegedly scaled back on the number of safety sensors used to detect objects in the road, resulting in a blind zone on the Volvo SUV model involved in the accident.
Russia starts a 'safe selfie' campaign to curb fatal photography
If you've spent any time on YouTube browsing for Russian dash cam or parkour videos, you know that the country's people can take life to the (often ill-advised) limit. That devil-may-care attitude also extends to how they take selfies. Since there were "at least" 10 deaths and 100 injuries resulting from folks aching to get the perfect shot last year, the Russian government has issued a set of rules for safe self-photography. A leaflet's going around advising people to not take photos with weapons, big animals, hanging from antennas on rooftops or in front of rail transport, among other situations.

In chatting with Tecmo's Product Specialist Ryan Arbogast, Wii-supporter The Wiire has been able to gain some more information on the upcoming golf title. The game is not to support online play, which we knew before, but seems to be geared up to offer a robust single-player campaign and local multiplayer experience featuring several different types of unlockables and game modes, as well as Kasumi from Tecmo's famous Dead or Alive franchise. Also, it turns out that the game's development team is being led by none other than Kaguchi-san, who has worked on Fatal Frame and Tokobot.
