The third of five teaser images for Team Meat's latest project, Mew-Genics, is Frank. Frank has been diagnosed by his creators with "head problems," but we think he should be re-evaluated for sweat problems, hunchback problems, tooth problems and... is that a tail? Then yes, tail problems, too.Previous teaser images show characters with fewer physical ailments, but probably just as many issues: Mr. Tinkles and Dr. Beanies. We're guessing Mr. Tinkles has depression and bladder control problems, and Dr. Beanies has "eating cats" problems. Those are just guesses, of course.

Freak out (!), because another music legend's starting to bite the iTunes pie. With the well-documented Beatles-on-iTunes saga well behind us, it's time for the late Frank Zappa to become one of the most recent artists to join Cupertino's media repertoire. This means that there's now over 50 of Zappa's albums up for your downloading / listening pleasure inside Apple's renowned application -- some of which have been remastered, and include the likes of Absolutely Free, Uncle Meat, Hot Rats, Burnt Weeny Sandwich and, not surprisingly, the best-selling Sheik Yerbouti. That's not it, however, according to Digital Music News, Frank Zappa's full set of jams could also be headed to streaming services (such as Rdio and Spotify) sometime around October of this year -- though, at this point, nothing's been set in stone just yet. Either way, the good news is you can find the hefty catalog on iTunes as we speak, all you've got to do's give the source link below a quick tap.

  • The Engadget Interview: RIM CMO Frank Boulben

It's been said before that RIM CEO Thorsten Heins surely has one of the toughest jobs in tech. It's a title he no doubt shares with Frank Boulben, the company's newly minted CMO. After all, it's Boulben who will be taking charge of the marketing for the company so badly in need of a new image. The Orange / Vodafone expat, naturally, sees very bright things ahead for Research in Motion's future -- a future that hinges almost entirely on the success of the company's much delayed BlackBerry 10. Like Heins, Boulben insists that all who have seen the much anticipated mobile operating system thus far have been thoroughly impressed -- it's a sentiment that we certainly can't debate. Of course, given all of the trouble the company has run into bringing the OS to market, the number of folks who can claim membership in that exclusive club is small indeed. When the first BB10 devices finally hit early next year, Boulben's team will be tasked with making sure that number increases significantly enough to ensure the company's success in a field that is increasingly dominated by the likes of Android and iOS. We spoke to Boulben about his plans to help spread the BlackBerry gospel, the time he spent as an executive at the also-troubled Lightsquared and the changes RIM must make to ensure it's success in the future.

  • WoW Moviewatch: Frank & Beans: Turtle Boat

Frank & Beans is a pretty unique video, created by Apt-T Productions. I would have trouble saying that the production values are very high, since it really is just a pair of characters standing on a boat talking. However, what it does have is exactly the kind of thing I like -- dialogue, and dialogue-based comedy. Of course, your mileage is going to vary. I have to admit that I didn't actually laugh, but that could just be me. The humor itself is fine, based on the absurdist observations about whether the two characters are riding a turtle or a boat. But, I enjoyed everything about the idea of the movie, and hope to see more like this in the future. I think my only real criticism would be that if the characters spend so much time talking about the Turtle Boat, we should probably see the boat itself. I was having problems trying to picture what they were talking about, and really wanted that reference to be able to "get" the comedy. Click here to see it for yourself!
