Nintendo Fanboy extraordinaire Alisha Karabinus staved off adversity -- they don't care much for blue-hairs down south -- to bring us illuminating coverage of Nintendo's Fusion Tour as it, er, rather, as Hawthorne Heights rocked Jonesboro, Arkansas. While flocks of emo-punks charged the stage, Karabinus made a beeline for the Nintendo area. Phew, safe at last. Peep the intel she gathered: Fusion Tour impressions from the mid-South The forgotten DS at the Nintendo Fusion Tour

Matt over at IGN attended the recent Hollywood stop on Nintendo's Fusion Tour, taking his time to play as many of the Wii titles on-hand as possible. Matt points out that Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, Excite Truck, Wii Sports and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess were available for play at the show and, much in the same way we'd handle the situation, he stayed planted in front of the Wii kiosks, totally ditching the musical acts playing at the show.

Dedicated Ninty tipster and fellow blogger Andrew Yoon had a chance to hang out at the Nintendo World Store this past Tuesday, when the Fusion Tour stopped by with their load of games ... oh, and they brought some musicians or something, we're not really sure. After the Wii, it all gets a little blurry. Andrew's video coverage is definitely worth a watch. We particularly liked the guys who were trying to put a brave face on waiting in line ... those guys are fans! But everything pales in the face of game footage. It almost brings a tear to our eye. Wii Fanboy will be hitting the Tour later this month, so keep an eye out for even more media goodness.Check after the jump for the video.

The Nintendo World Store hosted a very special event on Tuesday for its fans. They brought Fusion Tour headliners Hawthorne Heights to their NYC flagship store to perform a live acoustic set ... but, that wasn't the real reason Nintendo fans flocked by the hundreds to this midtown mecca. Nintendo also granted their eager, sweaty fanboy hands access to the elusive Wiimote and games like Wii Sports, Excite Truck, Wario Ware, and Metroid Prime. Check out my exciting adventures in picture and video form, after the break.

Nintendo giveaways are everywhere lately, but this time it's official -- Nintendo is giving away a Wii and a DS in conjunction with their Fusion Tour. Sadly, they'll be autographed by some guys you've never heard of, but hey! If we can file the gloss off a DS, anything is possible. The full grand prize is: one DS Lite, one DS game, one Wii, CDs from the bands on the Fusion Tour, and tour swag. Five lucky members of Nintendo's website will pick up those packages. You do have to register to enter, but that's okay. It's Nintendo.com, so aren't you registered already?[Thanks, Author X!]
