In First Impressions, Krystalle takes on a MMO and reports back at what you can expect from the game. Is it painful? Awesome? Find out as she takes an unscientific (and fairly opinionated) view of a game you may not have had a chance to play. Also remember, this is not a review; simply a First Impression - as such, we always recommend you give games that seem interesting a shot and decide for yourself.Welcome back my friends, for some games that never end. With most of the craziness of the summer travel season and an injury behind me, it's time to dig in and get back to First Impressions. This time we're taking a look at the crunchy, post-apocalyptic indie title, Fallen Earth. Set to launch on the 15th, with a pre-launch start on the 9th, Fallen Earth is the first entry into the market for Fallen Earth, LLC, a spin-off of Icarus Studios. To say that it is an ambitious step into the field is an understatement of some pretty extreme proportions. It's not every day an MMO company decides to drop an MMO smack into the middle of a scale map of the Grand Canyon. More properly, a post Shiva-virus and nuclear post-apocalyptic Grand Canyon. Ambitious? Definitely. Whether or not it works, well... read on for my First Impressions, and make your own call once you have more of an idea what's in play here. • An illustrated guide to Kil'jaeden's hats

With M'uru now apparently substantially nerfed, and several guilds having been past him for a few weeks anyway, the top guilds are now biding their time until they can face off against Kil'jaeden himself. Before they can do that, one last Sunwell Plateau gate needs to be opened; my guess on when that will happen is May 27, two weeks from yesterday, but no-one knows for sure. So I thought I'd jump the gun a little and give you all a preview of the loot we should be able to expect from what will almost certainly be the final raid boss of The Burning Crusade, thanks to MMO-Champion. None of this is confirmed, of course, because nobody has actually fought him yet, but given the item levels, and the fact that we haven't seen them anywhere else yet, we can be pretty sure these are KJ drops. And an odd number of them are helms.%Gallery-22869%

Children's Week is one of my favorite events of the year. You can get a couple of pets, some reputation and cash and, in the Shattrath City version, there be dragons. Dragons are cool.I have chronicled my questing in this year's Shattrath City Children's Week event for the Horde in a gallery walkthrough. It's an interesting story and a nice tour of some fun spots in Outland and Azeroth, but if you also want to know the hard numbers for completing the entire quest chain, here they are: Cash: At level 70, the cash total was 45 gold and 54 silver. Reputation: Your Lower City Reputation increases by a total of 1760. One very cute or disturbing pet. So check out our Horde-side Children's Week in Shattrath City Gallery Walkthrough and stay tuned for more on the rest of the event.%Gallery-21949%

var digg_url = 'http://digg.com/pc_games/What_we_know_about_WoW_s_Death_Knights'; Winter is coming: reports have it that WoW's next expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, is in alpha. Wrath will feature a raise in the level cap from 70 to 80, access to the continent of Northrend with ten zones, the new profession of Inscription and, perhaps most exciting of all, WoW's first new class: the Death Knight. This early on, details are still scarce, and Blizzard has been reluctant to release any information about Wrath since Blizzcon 2007. More information will probably leak as the alpha progresses. However, I've put everything we have been able to find out about Death Knights in the gallery below, so come on in to learn what we know.%Gallery-20386%
