  • Sony promises 27 playable PS3 titles at TGS, nil reported at Leipzig

    According to PS3Land.com, Sony will let the curtain drop at Tokyo Game Show in September with plans to feature 27 playable PlayStation 3 titles and additional (non-playable) displays for at least 8 other titles. Currently, reports out of Leipzig confirm that Sony is not featuring playable PS3 games, or for that matter, a hardware display at GC 2006.   • A peek at Microsoft in Leipzig

    Major Nelson has dumped a bunch of photos of the Xbox booth resort at the Leipzig Games Convention into his Flickr account. The installment features an Xbox Live users' hangout (pictured), pimp Flight Simulator X setup, giant hamster wheel, and of course, VIP tent.Microsoft's GC 2006 press briefing is scheduled for tomorrow at 1 pm (CEST). Both Sony and Nintendo will be addressing the media Wednesday morning. Stay tuned.

  • Sega's Leipzig GC 2006 lineup

    Sega has announced their lineup for next week's Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany. Of the 11 playable titles, all PS3 and Wii games will be shown behind closed doors. Also notice that Sega has rather unceremoniously changed the name of their Sonic Wii title, Sonic Wild Fire, to Sonic and the Secret Rings. Here's the lineup, courtesy of EuroGamer.
