Bill Farmer, the voice actor who plays Goofy in Kingdom Hearts 3, has completed recording for the game and he says in a tweet that it's due out in 2015. Square Enix, however, doesn't agree – about a week after Farmer's quiet bombshell, the company tweeted that there is no release date for Kingdom Hearts 3. There was a Goof! The release date for @KINGDOMHEARTS III remains unannounced. - SQUARE ENIX USA (@SquareEnixUSA) January 8, 2015 Why must you mess with our hearts this way, Farmer? Et tu, Square Enix? Reports have it that Kingdom Hearts 3 is being built in Unreal Engine 4, and series Director Tetsuya Nomura says, "The battles that the characters have been fighting for the past 10 years will come to a conclusion." Kingdom Hearts 3 is due out on PS4 and Xbox One ... eventually. [Image: Square Enix]

  • Brando's Bombshell MP3 player gives the TSA something new to balk at

Nah, grenade and bomb-shaped PMPs aren't anything new, but we'll confess to never seeing anything quite like this. Hosted up at the always-unpredictable Brando website, the USB Bombshell MP3 Player acts as a portable speaker, a radio and a markedly volatile MP3 player. There's an inbuilt USB port and SD card slot for loading up your favorite Rise Against albums, and the integrated Li-ion battery pack should keep it ticking for an undisclosed amount of time. 'Course, sneaking this one past airport security could be an adventure unto itself, but those willing to live life with the pin pulled can get one headed their way for $43. [Thanks, Lawrence]

  • Disney launching calibration disc for pros and novices alike at CEDIA

Offering calibration patterns on Pixar flicks is one thing, but Disney is leaping wholeheartedly into the calibration and test market with its WOW (World of Wonder) Blu-ray disc launching November 2. We don't have details on all 35 calibration tools for audio and video packed in, but other bonuses include tools to reverse stuck pixels, test viewing angles and encoder performance and a second disc called VISIONS: Inspired By Nature full of real and imagined landscapes to demo all those equipment and settings. Expect to see this on shelves in DVD and Blu-ray form in one or two disc sets, or packed with a "high performance HDMI cable" in a home theater pack that could include an unspecified Disney flick. Real pros will probably leave the HDMI cable on the shelf, but if Goofy can get people to sort out their home theater settings, all the better -- all the details are in the press release after the break.

  • Buffalo offers up Disney USB flash drives

Now that you've returned from your potentially magical trip to Disney World and seen the more robotically inclined characters dancing a jig, the sore spot on the entire trip was likely the lack of Disney-inspired flash drives at the gift store. Fret not, as Buffalo has just unveiled a lineup of USB drives that sport licensed Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, and Stitch, which are all part of the RUF2-DFNR series. Judging by the shapes, each character is more suited to sit on your desk rather than becoming your everyday pocket drive, and with just 512MB of capacity, it's fairly clear that these are aimed squarely at Disney fanboys (and girls) who just can't let the opportunity to own a "limited edition" Disney item pass them by. Landing late next month, only 5,000 of each character will be available for sale, and while we're not sure of the exact prices, we're certain the trio will be at least somewhat overpriced (and highly coveted).[Via Impress]

It takes guts for someone to dress up in a silly outfit, courage for them to pose for pictures, and a sense of humor to know that they'll end up on the internet. However, it takes real balls to do all of that while wearing a Victoria's Secret Angel costume and playing Guitar Hero. Thus, we have a winner for our contest. We apologize in advance if you can't get this image out of your head for several days, but hey ... them's the breaks.Kudos to Stacey for this winning entry, she'll receive a copy of Guitar Hero II with a guitar signed by Dave Navarro (eBay value of autograph = $1.57). Our two runners-up are Casethan and his dual-guitars of death/J.C. Penney catalog picture, and JediJoe9's proof that he might have some brain damage. They'll both receive signed posters and GH2 t-shirts.Thanks to everyone who entered!
