IndieGameStand organizers have opened the IndieGameStand Store, a new service that collects featured PC games in a dedicated online storefront. Originally launched as a pay-what-you-want service spotlighting individual indie releases in a series of 96-hour sales, IndieGameStand now offers all of its featured games for sale on a permanent basis. IndieGameStand Store launches today with a lineup of 94 games from 72 developers, many of which were featured in previous 96-hour sales. The IndieGameStand Store aims to "greatly lower the barrier to entry for independent developers who have been stymied by Steam and other channels," organizers note. IndieGameStand Store offerings are approved within 1 to 2 days after submission, and developers are promised a 75/25 revenue split. In addition to expanding its Store offerings, IndieGameStand will continue to run pay-what-you-want sales regularly. To mark the occasion, IndieGameStand is holding a launch sale that drops the price of 14 featured games, including Escape Goat, Gimbal, Paranautical Activity, and The Real Texas. The sale concludes October 1.

IndieGameStand takes the standard indie bundle formula and shoots it out of a cannon, hosting a new indie game for "pay what you want" every 96 hours. The first game to hit IndieGameStand launches today: Escape Goat from MagicalTimeBean.Escape Goat previously launched on XBLIG and PC, and tells the tale of slumbering sheep, a headstrong goat and his mouse companion as they solve puzzles to escape the Prison of Agnus. If that story does nothing for you, it's a retro-inspired puzzle platformer and it has a level editor, and it is redeemable for PC via Desura.MagicalTimeBean is giving 10 percent of its sales to the American Red Cross, and will hopefully spend the rest on extra spaces for its own name and IndieGameStand's. Escape Goat will be available for four days, with a new IndieGameStand game announced on September 30 at 12:01 a.m. ET.
