Competitive gaming TV with LANBus
From Nick Arcade to Arena to upcoming shows on DDR and Major League Gaming, the idea of competitive gaming on TV is nothing new. The people at Endless Drive Productions have sent us a link to the pilot for their entry into the burgeoning field, LANBus, in which the titular bus travels the country looking for the unfortunately named "Ubergamer." The pre-game strategizing and reality-show style eliminations seem a bit unecessary to us, but the actual gaming -- complete with trash talk and color commentary -- is well put-together. Would you watch a competitive gaming TV show, or would you rather actually be playing the game?
