Apple's iPad Pro is pricey even before you add in the $169 official keyboard case, but Logitech may have a way to make the whole package a little more palatable. It's now shipping its promised Create Keyboard Case for the gigantic tablet, and the add-on will sell for a slightly more frugal $150. It only works at two angles, but you'll get perks like backlit keys, automatic pairing (thanks to the Smart Connector) and a raft of iOS shortcuts. And if you don't want to turn your iPad into a makeshift laptop, there's an $80 Create Protective case that ditches the keyboard in return for a more flexible stand. Either shell is available in black, blue or red, so you're not stuck with somber colors on your giant slate.

You might have heard that Logitech is rebranding itself with the hipper, more with it, Logi moniker. Now we've got the first official Logi products: iPad cases! The company's new "Blok" lineup of cases for the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini all feature ribbed, shock-absorbent corners, the areas that typically get damaged when you drop your iPad. True to their name, they're blockier than most other cases today, but those sharper corners also give them a distinctive visual style that befits a brand desperate for attention from youngins. The $40/£30 Logi BLOK Protective Shell offers basic iPad protection (along with a screen protector), while the $70/£50 BLOK Protective Case offers complete screen protection and a (surprisingly) adjustable stand. But what really intrigues us is the $130/£100 BLOK Keyboard Case, mainly because Logitech has already made a name for itself with solid iPad keyboards over the years (and for much less than competitors like Typo).

When someone says "Logitech," we're sure the first things that pop into your head are boring computer mice (zzz), keyboards (zzzzz) and other peripherals (snore). Well, the company's likely attempting to look more in vogue, especially to the younger crowd, because it's reinventing itself with a new logo and an overall more colorful design. It's also launching a new label for its latest categories (probably including its non-computer accessories) called "Logi." Unfortunately, the company hasn't revealed more details besides the "Logi" name, but we're sure you'll be seeing products under the new label soon enough. Any brand can benefit from having a distinct personality -- just look at Apple and how easy it is to identify its products -- so it's easy to see why Logitech wants to be more memorable. Only time can tell, though, if this makeover can make an impact.
