Sports fans were promised high definition versions of Pardon the Interruption and Around the Horn this fall, and it looks like we will get them. Not that we really need to see Jay Marriotti or Dan LeBatard in 720p, but beyond just expanding the Adande Lounge to 16:9, we should see more sports highlights in their highest quality as Tony Reali, host of ATH and Stat Boy on PTI tweeted yesterday they will both upgrade to HDTV-ready formats beginning September 27. No word yet on Jim Rome is Burning, but since that's filmed in LA at an entirely different facility it's tough to tell when ESPN might make its full afternoon lineup HD.
