DS releases for the week of July 14th
Good thing you'll be caught up with E3 this week, because there's not a whole lot out on shelves -- at least, not in the U.S.. The most exciting thing this week? Metal Slug 7 finally comes out somewhere, with that somewhere being Japan. But that's not even close to being the most exciting Japanese release this week. Immerse your eyeballs in Slime
Jeux France has posted a further six shots of forthcoming LocoRoco/World of Goo-style platformer Mister Slime. The aim of the game is straightforward enough: negotiate environments by clinging onto strategically placed dots with Mister Slime's four Stretch Armstrong-esque limbs. You'll also be able to blow on the microphone and propel our globular hero through the air, or help him breathe under water.Incidentally, it looks as though Lexis Numérique's quirky title could be one of those rare beasts: a game Europe gets before the U.S. GameStop now says Mister Slime will release stateside on May 20th (a revision from its earlier listing of April 1st), while Jeux France maintains the title will spill over Europe on April 4th.%Gallery-17549%
SouthPeak announces Mister Slime for North America
SouthPeak games is putting out a new action adventure game called Mister Slime. Development duties will be handled by Lexis Numérique. SouthPeak executive vice president Katie Morgan calls it "fresh, tactile, fun, and addictive. That is what Mister Slime is all about."The game releases in April, but has been available in Germany for quite some time now. For some screens, hit up our gallery below.
