If, as a Lord of the Rings Online player, you're either confused or completely in the dark where it concerns the upcoming Volume II: Book 7 crafting instances for Lord of the Rings Online, LotroLife has got you covered. The guide is pretty in-depth about everything an aspiring crafts-person needs to know about running the six different crafting instances being added to the game.Thankfully, it looks as though an explanation about the timers for these instances was also added after multiple inquiries on the topic. So if for some reason you're still left with a question or two, you may just get it. Although since author KatashiTakishiro figured this whole thing out via trial and error, that may be the best course to figuring every in and out in the end.

The newest concept art to hit from the Volume II: Book 7: Leaves of Lórien update for Lord of the Rings Online features an astonishingly beautiful Galadriel's Court. Does it surprise anyone else that elves are all about visually stunning architecture? While the Dwarves are primarily concerned with size and how much gold was involved, the Elves seem to focus on making everything curvy and elegant. It's like an M.C. Escher drawing, only with leaves and vines instead of doors and stairs. There's plenty more beautiful concept are that's previously come out of Turbine, and we highly encourage you browse through them if you haven't yet. Trust us, it's worth the few minutes you'll spend massaging your eye muscles enough to stop them from popping those precious peepers back into their sockets. Additionally, we've got the first screens from the Volume II: Book 7 update as well.%Gallery-46767%%Gallery-18340%

With the Book 7 update for Lord of the Rings Online, a new self revive ability is being added to all the classes in the game. Upon first hearing this news, one is inclined to fear the worst: easy mode. But after noting that this ability comes with some serious caveats, things begin to look rather rational on the part of Turbine. For an impressively convincing and balanced take on the whole situation, we point you to the MMeOw Lord of the Rings Online blog. It all makes more sense when you take into consideration the ever-increasing revive recharge times as you level. And in addition to that restriction, a self-rez'd player comes back with 20% power and morale and the standard dread/item wear applied per a normal death.Ultimately, the new ability doesn't come in handy where most players would have cause for concern: PvMP and instanced areas of play. And we're not entirely sure if there's any use for a self revive of this nature outside of getting overwhelmed in solo PvE play.

Turbine has just announced a brand new public test server for Lord of the Rings Online called Bullroarer. This test server will allow plays to experience content before it is ready to go live, allowing the players to help test the content and give their feedback. You will need to download Bullroarer separately from the live game client, and you must have an active LotRO account. What's even more exciting about this announcement is the fact that the newest content update, Book 7, is live on Bullroarer right now for players to explore! Since this is a test server, it will incorporate a copy from a live server. Right now that first server is Elendilmir, but anyone is invited to create a character and experience the new content. Turbine says they will soon enable the Eyes and Guard Inn in-game to allow anyone to boost their characters up to max level and experience everything. Check out the current Book 7 patch notes (that are subject to change before going live) and count on Massively for much more coverage of Book 7 as it nears live release.
