Operation: Heartbreaker brings the Banshees in Mass Effect 3 this weekend
We have two problems with this weekend's special multiplayer event for Mass Effect 3. First, players have to cope with an abundance of Banshees, the game's most hated villain that doesn't have the last name "Shields." The individual goal this weekend is to earn at least 20,000 points from killing Banshees, netting players a Commendation Pack.Next, the name of the mission is Operation: Heartbreaker, but there is no Shawn Michaels in sight to superkick said Banshees in the mouth. Our Commander Shepard refers to himself as the "Heart Break Kid," but it's just not the same.
Mass Effect 3's 'Operation: Ballistic' weekend goes for the gold
By now, we are surely all familiar with how this whole Mass Effect 3 multiplayer weekend thing is supposed to work: "Hey N7 Marines, something about the state of the galaxy, something about the Reapers/Geth/Cerberus, perfunctory lore justification, etc, go kill stuff and we'll give you stuff."It's a good system, so why mess with it? This weekend's Operation: Ballistic challenge charges individual soldiers with earning a gold weapon medal for assault rifles, heavy pistols, shotguns, sniper rifles, or submachine guns. As per usual, the reward for successfully completing the task set before you is one brand-spankin'-new Commendation Pack.
