After abandoning its launch "all telenovelas, all the time" model MyNetworkTV made a turn for reality TV and a few new dramas, but you can kiss that plan goodbye as its switched up styles yet again. The new strategy focuses on syndicated content and less original programming, including a two hour Law & Order: CI block. Since WWE SmackDown is the only thing people really watch you can be sure it will stick around but really, who wants to bet we're just one more cycle from the first(?) "all Law & Order, all the time" network?[Via TV Squad]

Look out, world -- Albany just landed a very fine trio from Time Warner Cable. While most of the nation is sitting around and waiting anxiously for the arrival of ESPNews HD to their lineup, the fine folks in New York's capital are grinning from ear to ear as they enjoy it on slot 1872. Furthermore, Travel HD was added on 1843, and potentially best of all, the local MyNetworkTV (MyTV4) affiliate WNYA was also just added on 1804. Why so important, you ask? The latter channel has inked a deal to broadcast 21 Yankees games in HD that aren't already claimed by YES, and sure enough, the club has its first MyTV4-based showing tonight when it heads to Baltimore to take on the Orioles. Here's to you, Albany. [Disclosure: Engadget is part of the Time Warner family][Thanks, Mark]

What we're watching: Tonight are the thrilling finales of MyNetworkTV's debut programs Fashion House and Desire. We're sure you'll watch these as intently as you have every other episode so far this season. We can also say goodbye to CBS' 3 Lbs, which has already been cancelled. Instead, we'll catch Saving Private Ryan on Cinemax, after watching a stretched upconvert so many times on TNT, we deserve it. Update: We almost forgot about the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show tonight on CBS at 10, we suppose Private Ryan can save himself tonight. (Thanks overdigital!)Our traditional high-def listings continue below.
