If you are all thumbs at PvP but have a green thumb in real life, Albion Online has the calling for you: farmer. The upcoming sandbox is adding an agriculture system for players to engage in when not out braving the dangers of the world. On top of a relaxing alternative to combat, farming will provide buffs via foodstuffs and potions made from the bounty of the land. The system is an involved one. Players can grow crops on farms and/or raise livestock on pastures. The farmed produce and grains can then be processed via mills and cooking pots into consumables or fed to the cattle, goats, chickens and more (which in turn produce consumables like eggs, milk, and meat). So grab your overalls and get ready to share some cakes, kabobs, pies, and potions with hungry friends and customers. [Source: Sandbox Interactive press release]

If you were looking for another reason to get together with your fellow Final Fantasy XI players for riches and glory, the new Unity Concord System is for you. These upcoming NPC-based factions, each run by one of Vana'diel's more popular personages, come complete with special tasks, rewards, and even rankings. Membership in a Unity will have its privileges: Each one has a special chat channel as well as new Records of Eminence objectives that allow you to earn a new currency called accolades. These accolades can be spent on participating in the new "Wanted" objectives (where players are given the task to defeat a specific monster), buying special items, enhancing equipment looted from the Wanted battles, and more. Once a week the Unities will be ranked based on points accumulated by members; the higher a Unity is ranked, the better the equipment players can earn from the wanted objectives. And that's only the beginning. Devs note that even more systems and content related to the Unity Concord are scheduled to be added in future updates.

Those lucky cats at Engadget get all the cool stuff! Just yesterday, Sony decided to hook them up with a late prototype of the Mylo. Here's what they said:The Good+ The Mylo doesn't have the XMB cross-media bar that we've grown to love on the PSP, but its interface is still easy to navigate.+ The hot-spot finder is a nice program that helps in finding where you can go online.+ The screen is "nice and bright."+ The Mylo supports limited multi-tasking.+ The Mylo seems to have less "key travel" than similar slide-out keyboards. The Bad- There is no Bluetooth support.- The file system is basic.- The buttons aren't backlit. - The color scheme of the keys and keyboard (Dark orange on orange) doesn't contrast well.So it looks like Sony could tweak the system a bit, but overall, it looks pretty solid. It's kinda funny because in the first images we saw of the Mylo, it looked like its design borrowed heavily from the PSP. But seeing the two together, they really don't look similar at all.(Via Engadget)
