WoW Moviewatch: Of Life and Pain
Maybe I'm just biased as I have a passing familiarity with vampire LARP. I get apprehensive when I see something called Of Life and Pain. I expect to see overwrought, sophomore-angst video. While I wasn't entirely disappointed, Of Life and Pain shows all the promise you can hope to see in a new machinima creator. The animation reveals technical adeptness and the basic plot has wings. It's not a soaring, mind-blowing epic yet, but I can see the next video achieving that. My final score: good, a little over-the-top in forced emotion, but shows the glimmers of greatness with practice. Interested in the wide world of machinima?
