Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist, a live-action web series that focuses on Ryu and Ken's studying of the Ansatsuken fighting style, will arrive in its entirety on May 23 on Machinima's main YouTube channel. Aside from picking up their iconic move set, the duo learn about dark past events involving Ansatsuken and their master, Goken. The series was written by Joey Ansah, who reprises his roll as Akuma from Street Fighter: Legacy, and Christian Howard, who also returns to play the fiery-shoyruken-savvy Ken. Assassin's Fist Limited produced the series in association with Lonely Rock Productions, Gloucester Place films, Capcom USA and Evropa Film. [Image: Machinima]

It's a tale as old as the introduction of the 808 PureView, itself. Something about a bar and Tokyo and scribbling ingenious ideas on a napkin -- you know, the same 'ol humble origin story that seems to surround every impactful creation. Spoon-fed mythology aside, Nokia's decided to shift things into meta mode by composing a making of mini-doc for its hump-backed Symbian Belle cameraphone shot entirely with that much-ballyhooed 41-megapixel sensor (insert feigned amazement here). If you haven't heard Espoo spin this yarn before, settle in for an eight minute, accented tribute journey that takes navel-gazing and self-congratulations to an uncomfortable level. We get it, guys, the camera's good. Really, really good -- there's no need to sell us on it any further. 'Tis a pity, then, that the handset's been restricted to "select markets." Hop on past the break to gawk at this scripted enthusiasm first-hand.

Not every character in DC Universe Online is granted metahuman powers or magical abilities. Thankfully, for those who started out as average joes that simply want to do good (or evil), there's the technology powerset, which offers a plethora of control options. Currently, there are two technology mentors in DC Universe Online that can help put players' feet on the right path: Batman and The Joker. While we've seen Batman and The Joker revealed long before the game launched, this newest video from SOE features Creative Director Jens Andersen giving us a bit more information about the two origin storylines that players have a chance to experience if they pick one of these two iconic characters as a mentor. So, if you've ever wondered what it might be like to right wrongs or create chaos on the darkened streets of Gotham, check out the shiny new DC Universe Online tech mentor video behind the break.
