Are your flipper fingers getting rusty? Do you need a last-minute Thanksgiving present for Great Aunt Cheryl? Are Thanksgiving presents even a thing? Humble Bundle has those first two problems covered with the Zen Studios weekly sale, which includes more than 20 pinball tables spread across eight games. Pay what you want for the following Pinball FX2 games: Core Pack, Classic Pack, Earth Defense Table, Paranormal Table and Epic Quest Table. Pay $6 or more to also snag the Marvel Pinball: Avengers Chronicles Pack, Star Wars Pack and Marvel Pinball Original Pack. All of the packs are available for PC via Steam. Payments for the Pinball FX weekly sale are split, however you choose, among Zen Studios, Humble Bundle and two charities, Watsi and American Red Cross. Humble is currently donating to the American Red Cross Typhoon Appeal to provide food, shelter and emotional support to people in the Philippines affected by Typhoon Haiyan. Remember Humble Bundle also has the Humble Mobile Bundle 3 right now, which includes Android premieres of Ridiculous Fishing and Swordigo. And there's the new Humble Store, which hosts crazy daily deals on a broad swathe of indie games, today including the Giana Sisters Twisted Bundle, the Magicka Collection and one of our favorite brawlers of the year, Foul Play, among others.

Listen, we're not going to stand here and pretend like we understand the odd ... subset of people that love video game pinball. But they're out there, they're voracious, and we're not standing in their way. So here's the new BioLab table from the upcoming Pinball FX 2. Drink it in, weirdos. %Gallery-103204%

  • Pinball FX 2 exposed by Australian ratings office

Going by a rating handed down by Australia's Office of Film and Literature Classification (shouldn't it add "games" to its name at this point?), Hungarian dev ZEN Studios is readying a sequel to Pinball FX, the first and only pinball game for Xbox Live Arcade. The classification dated August 10, 2010, lists Microsoft as the publisher. Combine that with the fact that disc-based pinball titles are pretty much nonexistent at this point and, well, it's called Pinball FX 2, we'd say it's a pretty safe bet that the game is bound for XBLA. The original Pinball FX hit Xbox 360 all the way back in 2007, but has seen regular updates in the form of new themed tables, the most recent of which landed in the Xbox Marketplace on January 27 of this year. We may not know anything solid on this sequel (apart from the fact that it's apparently suitable for all ages) but we have some hopes for it, the biggest being that those who own the original be able to use the tables they've bought in the new game, without having to buy them again. If not, we may have to paddle someone. We've contacted Microsoft for comment on the classification and will update as soon as we hear back.

  • Earth Defense Table DLC available for Pinball FX

To take advantage of its limited-time reduced price, Zen Studios has released new DLC for Pinball FX. The "Earth Defense Table" (not pictured) runs gamers 240 ($3 US) and throws pinball fans in the middle of an alien invasion. Thankfully, these aliens have poor navigation skills and did not realize attacking Earth from within a virtual steel box would be considered a poor strategic decision.Shortcut: Add the Earth Defense Table (240) to your Xbox Queue[Via Aeropause]

Just as expected, today's Xbox Live Deal of the Week is none other than Pinball FX. MIcrosoft has slashed its price in half, Major Nelson reports, bringing the cost of the game down to 400 ($5). It's not a bad price and, while it ain't no The Addams Family pinball, it's about your best bet for a fix considering the American arcade has all but gone the way of the ManBearPig.

Tossing the usual drip-fed weekly schedule aside for the moment, Microsoft has released the full details for its "Deal of the Week," Games on Demand and Avatar DLC releases (in the US) for the entire month of September. Let's start with Games on Demand: Games on Demand (no prices noted) Sept 8: Civilization Revolution Sept. 15: FIFA Street 3 Sept. 22: Shaun White Snowboarding Sept. 29: Fable II: Game Episodes -- (we'd hold out for that "game of the year" edition) Check after the break for the "Deal of the Week" and Avatar DLC details.

Zen Studios has announced a hyper uppercut to its addictive XBLA release, Pinball FX, with a new table dedicated to Street Fighter. The Super Street Fighter II Turbo table is the pinball game's fourth expansion, and is expected to be available for purchase on November 12. No price for the download has been revealed, though we hope that neither Zen nor Capcom expect us to pay more than the 200 points normally asked for these tables, simply for the prestige that comes from rolling balls across Ryu's face.%Gallery-36271%

Nope, you didn't misread the title. Capcom's Street Fighter 2 will be making its way to Xbox Live Arcade game Pinball FX on November 12th ... in the form of a new pinball table. The new Ryu and Ken themed table will head to the Marketplace to coincide with the release of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix in November and will include original music and sound effects from the Street Fighter franchise. It'll also feature a bunch of combos, tournaments and a final boss battle where you duke it out with M. Bison and totally geek out in a euphoric Street Fighter fit. Capcom has yet to announce pricing details.

Just about two and a half months after Halloween, XBLA game Pinball FX is getting the spooky Nightmare Mansion expansion table. With "haunted house motifs, monstrous sounds and ghoulish effects" for 200 MS Points ($2.50), we can't decide if this expansion is a couple months late or a pregnancy too early. The Nightmare Mansion expansion is apparently the first in several expansion tables planned within the coming weeks. Coincidentaly, a free Buccaneer table for Pinball FX released last Halloween. Somewhere, somehow, we feel some lines got crossed.[Via Press Release]

  • Pinball FX gets spooky Nightmare Mansion DLC

Today, Zen Studios released a new pinball table for XBLA game Pinball FX ever so fittingly named Nightmare Mansion and we're sure it's a spooky pinball treat. Not only did they release a new table, but Zen also created a new "Monster Hunter" achievement worth 20 gamerscore as well. But before thoughts of new pinball and achievement fun dance in your head, you should know that the Nightmare Mansion DLC will cost you 200 Microsoft points. A price that may be too spooky for some. And now that we think about it some more, wouldn't it have been a little more seasonal to have released this Nightmare Mansion table back during Halloween and reserved the free Buccaneer Table for use now? It's just a crazy (and very logical) idea we had. But we guess Zen Studios doesn't mind the fact that Halloween was nearly three months ago. Their inspiration knows no boundaries or holidays.

Last week saw some demolition to the Live Top Ten list with the Command and Conquer 3 demo shaking up the top three. This week, the same thing happens, but it's out of left field with Pinball FX, which incidentally was also the top downloaded Arcade title as well, popping into third, behind Gears of War and Rainbow Six Vegas. All of which are followed by Guitar Hero II and the C&C3 demo. Call of Duty 3 moves down to sixth, while GRAW 2 stays put, Crackdown moves up to eighth. 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures proves it has some staying power by pulling off second to last, with Oblivion rounding off the list at tenth. Full list available after the break.

Yesterday, to go along with the announcement of the double header Wednesday with Eets: Chowdown and Pinball FX, the guys over at Xbox 360 Achievements uncovered all the Achievements for Eets: Chowdown, while having had Pinball FX's set for a while now. So go ahead and take a quick peek and what you'll be shooting for in the puzzle game. We're kinda craving a Double Marshoburger ourself. That being said we're kind of curious why "Smoreland" is worth 0 Gamerscore. Anyway, the game looks promising, will you be playing it tomorrow?

For the second straight week in a row we have two XBLA titles releasing this Wednesday in one amazing double header. Both Eets: Chowdown and Pinball FX will be released on April 25th to the XBLA with both games setting you back 800 Microsoft points. We can't deny that we are extremely excited to get our hands on Eets, but are definitely open to a little pinball fun too. With two twofer XBLA weeks back to back we can't help but be excited for the Arcade and how it is shaping up. Now Microsoft just has to keep the goods rolling through certification and nobody will be verbally abused. So, is anyone excited for this week's Arcade offerings?

It looks like that silly rumor was true as Microsoft just announced a bigger memory card for the Xbox 360. The new 512MB Xbox 360 memory card will be available April 3rd, will retail for $49.99, and for a limited time will come pre-loaded with Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved. Simultaneously, the ancient 64MB memory card will drop in price to $29.99 (be on the lookout for clearance prices). Also, with the announcement of the new 512MB card, the XBLA size limit will be raised from 50MB to 150MB allowing developers to run wild with their creativity. Microsoft also announced that they'll be showcasing XBLA titles Boom Boom Rocket, 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures, Eets: Chowdown, Jetpac Refuelled, and Pinball FX at GDC. Check out the full press release after the break. So, after reading that informative spiel what is your gut reaction? We definitely agree with raising the XBLA size limit to 150MB and find the 512MB memory card to be a much better deal than the old 64MB version. And for curiosity's sake, is there anyone out there who just purchased a 64MB memory card and is kicking themselves?

XBLArcade got the insider's scoop on new XBLA title Pinball FX. The official site for this arcade title is live and this looks to be the long promised 3D pinball game from last year. For features we're loving the Xbox Vision integration, the use of downloadable content, and head-to-head multiplayer mode. It's just like playing with a friend at the local bowling alley. This could be a fun title, but that is highly dependent on the price. Our sweet spot would be around 600 Microsoft points ... and yes we're cheap. Make the jump for a full feature list and additional screenshots, but be sure not to tilt the machine ... it's very touchy.
