As Justin is out of town this weekend, I have hacked into the One Shots email account and replaced all user submissions with screenshots of Tabula Rasa! Shh, no one tell him. But I am happy to take control of this regular feature for the week and show off a few of the shots you lovely readers have sent in. This first one is a testament to the amazing artwork we can expect from PlanetSide 2 when it launches on November 20th. As reader Lovelycarrot explains, "In this image, I'm all alone in a frozen wasteland in PlanetSide 2, pondering the next base to capture." Check out the full image and more submissions just after the cut.

  • Pink Day in LA is coming to a Lion's Arch near you

It's October, and you know what that means! The time for Pink Day in LA is almost upon us! The Gaming World Entertainment Network's annual Guild Wars fundraiser for the fight against breast cancer will be held on Saturday, October 20th. Of course, the LA of Pink Day in LA is Lion's Arch, and there are two of those now. GW-EN's solution is to host parties in Lion's Arch in both Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2. Up to three international districts in Guild Wars will be hosted, as will the Henge of Denravi, Dragonbrand, Stormbluff Isle, Jade Quarry, Darkhaven, Sanctum of Rall, Underworld, and Desolation servers in Guild Wars 2. You don't really need to be playing a Guild Wars game to participate: GW-EN is encouraging people to tun into the radio stream and celebrate the event no matter what game they play. Maybe we'll all accept that LA can be found in our hearts, not on some server somewhere. Hit up the official Pink Day website for full details, including a prize list and information on how you can help.

  • Flameseeker Chronicles: A closer look at the Grawl of Guild Wars 2

I was pretty excited to see this week's addition to the ArenaNet blog for a couple of reasons reasons. First, I'm a big fan of Jeff Grubb's style of storytelling. It's clear, informative, and entertaining, with just enough of Jeff's wry sense of humor to surprise a laugh out of me now and again. Second, it's about the Grawl! This is a race that I really underappreciated in the past, just like the blog entry said. The Grawl came to my attention only when I was giggling as my miniature Grawl talked to himself while running behind me, raging at multiple Grawl Udolytes in hard mode, and cracking up while watching one of my favorite fan videos. I want to take a closer look at the Grawl, but there's more -- it was an exciting week in Tyria, so follow along after the jump and let's get started!

This week's Flameseeker Chronicles is a bit of a departure. Rather than compiling a guide or a wrap-up of the latest news or content, we're going to sit back, relax, and have a little bit of fun. The timing couldn't be better: We're in a post-convention lull for Guild Wars 2, Winds of Change part two has arrived and been played through, and Halloween events aren't here quite yet. It's a chance to take a bit of a breather, so this week I'm focusing on some community events and a little extra. Jump past the cut and let's get started!

You've probably noticed a lot of people wearing pink lately. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and the Guild Wars community is getting in on the act. It's all well and good to sport a little bit of pink on your clothing, but it's even more fun to jump in and help out. The Gaming World Entertainment Network is doing just that by hosting Pink Day in LA today. The group is taking over the Lion's Arch international districts of Guild Wars in an event that will raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society and distribute a mountain of great prizes to participants. Prizes are both in-game and real-world, and several real-world prizes are non-Guild-Wars-related, so even if you're not a fan of the game, you can still participate. A donation of $10 to the Canadian Cancer Society counts as your entry in the prize drawing, so check out all of the information on the Pink Day in LA site. The front page has a donation button and simple instructions about how to make sure you are entered after you donate. The event itself is from noon until 6 p.m. MST in the international districts of Lion's Arch, so don't miss out! Finally, if you really want to get into the spirit of things, ArenaNet has a bonus for you. The developers have created a special pink dye vendor to hang out in LA during the event, so be sure to pay a visit while you're there!
