When Xiaomi introduced its Black Shark 2 gaming phone a year ago, it hyped up the pressure-sensitive display that lets users map left and right controls to the screen. The new Black Shark 3 Pro takes things off the screen with physical pop-up shoulder buttons. In game mode, users can choose to use the two, 21-millimeter-wide buttons that raise 1.5 millimeters from the body of the phone. The buttons can supposedly withstand over 300,000 lifts and more than one million clicks.

Bench pressing 200 pounds is cool, if you're into that, but it can put a strain on your limbs. SmartTools has an alternative. The company's SmartCuffs, blood flow restriction training (BFR) cuffs, let you lift less weight and see the same gains. While BFR training has primarily been used in clinical settings, the new SmartCuffs are meant for consumers and they're significantly more affordable than past iterations.

  • Samsung's Galaxy Fold reservations begin tomorrow (updated)

There's not much new to say about the Galaxy Fold at this point. It's a phone. That folds. It's expensive. And it may or may not have a significant design flaw, depending on how you look at it. The only remaining question was: When can people lay claim to one? The answer is tomorrow. Samsung just issued a brief saying that starting tomorrow customers in the US can "reserve their spot in the private pre-order," which begins April 15th. We already knew that the Fold would go on sale in the US on April 26th, and a press release from T-Mobile, for one, confirms that's still true. In its statement, Samsung added that the Galaxy S10 5G will ship here in the states sometime in May. When we say expensive, by the way, we're talking $1,980 for the Fold. As a refresher, the device has a 4.6-inch AMOLED display on the outside, along with a flexible 7.3-inch AMOLED screen when the device is unfolded. You're also getting six cameras and Samsung's Wireless Powershare technology for wirelessly charging other devices. Not bad, but then again: This is an experimental first-generation device that not even us reviewers have gotten to play with. As for the 5G Galaxy S10, Samsung somehow still hasn't mentioned a price, which is weird given how soon it will be available. For now, think of it as a higher-spec Galaxy S10, with a larger battery and a more advanced camera setup. Keeping in mind that the S10 itself starts at $900, that should at least put us in the correct ballpark. Update: This post has been corrected to say that only the Fold will be available for pre-reservations tomorrow. The S10 will be available in May but will not be up for pre-order this week.

Ahead of its release October 26th on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Rockstar has revealed one more trailer and confirmed that starting at midnight tonight gamers will be able to start preloading digital copies on either console. They'll probably want to get started ASAP because a support page has confirmed what we'd heard about the game's install size, which is massive at 99GB for PS4 and 107GB for Xbox One. Additionally, anyone downloading the game on PS4 will need an extra 50GB free to complete the installation process.

Tesla has reportedly refunded nearly a quarter of US Model 3 pre-orders

Tesla raked in hundreds of thousands of pre-orders for its Model 3 after it unveiled the vehicle in 2016, but a report from analytics firm Second Measure shows that a good chunk of US pre-orders have since been refunded. As of April, the company's analysis shows that 23 percent of those who placed a pre-order in the US have had their $1,000 deposit refunded. A Tesla spokesperson told Recode that Second Measure's findings didn't match the automaker's own numbers, but declined to say by how much they were off. However, last August, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that 12 percent of reservations had been cancelled at the time -- data that aligned with Second Measure's analysis.

Iam8bit, purveyors of gaming soundtracks on vinyl and other cool tchotchkes, is teaming up with RealDoll and developer Playdead for its next project. Details for the Inside special edition are scarce, but it'll include a PlayStation 4 disc with the game, and Steam codes for Inside and Limbo. Oh, and it'll cost $375. From the pre-order page: "Iam8bit x Playdead x RealDoll are collaborating on a mysterious collector's edition for Inside. We will NOT tell you what it is. Maybe it's what you're thinking... maybe not. We can confirm that there are several items included, one of which is a PlayStation 4 game disc. The rest is up for speculation."
