Well, Sony may still be denying any plans of a 250GB PS3 bundle for the US, but it looks like the rumors just keep on cropping up in Europe, and this latest one is quite the doozy. According to Joystiq, that all too familiar inventory screen above comes from a purported Norwegian GameStop employee, and quite clearly reveals no less than five different 250GB PS3 bundles, including your choice of Ratchet & Clank, Assassin's Creed 2, FIFA 10, Need for Speed: Shift, or Uncharted 2 for a game. Prices are reportedly the same for each (a 500 kr, or $85 increase over the standard 120GB model), although there's unfortunately no release dates given for any of 'em. Of course, there is a confirmed date for the Tokyo Game Show, which would seem like a prime opportunity for them to get official, if they are indeed the real deal.

As Sony shoves one more PlayStation 3 bundle down our throats while we anxiously await the appearance of a slimmed-down version of the console, we have to admit that the game choices here are really top shelf. After catching wind of the Killzone 2 / Metal Gear Sold 4 PS3 bundle yesterday, we now have all the confirmation we need to believe that such a bundle is indeed filtering out to Best Buy stores. The image above shows an internal memo sent out to alert employees that the new package could start arriving as early as July 6th, with the official announcement coming in the July 12th ad. If you're actually in the market for a non-discounted, thick PS3, we'd say a phone call or two is in order, no?[Thanks, Anonymous]Update: The $399.99 bundle is now live on Best Buy's website and available for in-store pickup in select locations.

Well, it's not a price cut, but it looks like Sony could be about to offer one of its best deals to date to potential PS3 customers, with a little help from Best Buy. Apparently, in an effort to clear out the 80GB PS3s once and for all (to make way for... something), Best Buy will soon selling a bundle that includes said console, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Killzone 2 -- all for the usual price of $399.99. Better still, that bundle is supposedly set to go on sale as soon as next Sunday and, as you can see above, at least some of 'em have apparently already made their way into the stores' back rooms.[Via Joystiq]

When we heard about the MGS4 bundles a couple days back, we were wondering if Europe would be getting the same treatment. Apparently, Europe won't be seeing the 80GB MGS4 pack, but instead will be getting two new bundles in its place. The first pack is the "movie bundle" set for a March 19 release. It includes three Blu-ray flicks: Spider-man 3, 300, and Casino Royale. The second includes a copy of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue; this one should hit Euro retailers by March 29. Both bundles are 40GB models (the only ones available in Europe) that come with the regular €399 price tag. It's pretty sneaky of Sony to introduce a Blu-ray movie pack, especially with HD DVD out of the picture. It certainly is an intelligent tactic. To see the movie bundle pack shot, hit the jump.

Anyone in the market for a new HDTV and a brand-spankin' new PS3 will very soon be in the market for a PS3 game and a Blu-ray movie. It just so happens that Best Buy understands all those needs fully, which is why they're offering all four items as part of a nice bundle for this week's deal. The required item for this deal is the HDTV itself, and the 40" 1080p Sony LCD TV they're offering is quite an eye-catcher, having received pretty decent reviews from the users that purchased it. Although the HDTV fetches for $1550 - $1700 online, once you factor in the PS3, the game and the Blu-ray movie, it becomes quite a deal. Add it all up and if you're so inclined, head on over to Best Buy and partake. [Via Kotaku]
