War. War never changes ... and neither will the narrator for the intro to the next Fallout game, either! Ron Perlman has been tapped to do the voice work on Fallout: New Vegas' introductory cinematic, once again regaling us with the tale of post-apocalyptic America and introducing us to the game's main character: you. For the sake of potential spoilerz, we're going to go ahead an embed the audio past the break. Oh, and sorry non-Americans -- you likely won't be able to access the player.

For better or for worse, Mutant Chronicles is one of the few films that has debuted on Xbox Live Marketplace before a theatrical release. Set in the year 2707, this sci-fi film is loosely based on the Mutant Chronicles role-playing game. Earth is nearly exhausted of its natural resources and a mysterious "machine" threatens to turn the world into a ravenous wasteland of mutants. Sounds a little like Fallout, doesn't it?The film is getting a theatrical release today, but you should still be able to check it out on the Marketplace if you want to avoid a trip to the theater. Ron Perlman and John Malkovich star in the film -- but watch out, it has a Rotten Tomatoes rating of only 17%.

There are three things in this world for which we possess an unbridled, white-hot love: The warriors of feudal Japan, outrageously large disco hairstyles, and Samuel L. Jackson. As you can imagine, we've been fans of Afro Samurai since it made its American debut on SpikeTV in 2007 -- though we've been somewhat apprehensive towards the Namco brawler based on the stylish mini-series, which we got our first look at during last year's VGAs. However, the trailer posted above hits all the right notes -- amazing voice actors, attractive visuals, wicked acrobatic maneuvers, and a soundtrack by the Wu Tang Clan's RZA. With this latest trailer, and our brief time with the game at E3, we feel comfortable giving Afro Samurai the Joystiq Seal of Certified Freshness.

Namco Bandai showed a trailer for the game and, according to Game Daily, looks to have "lots of acrobatics and plenty of swordplay." Licensed games historically have been of subpar quality, with some exceptions. If they can get Jackson and Perlman to revise their roles for the game, we're sold.See Also: How to make The Boondocks into a video game

Those who were worried of Post-Apocalyptic Oblivion should find some solace in the amount of Fallout style that has been retained.Though it does run off of a modified Oblivion -- which is no surprise, considering the in-game teaser featured a Powered Armor soldier that looked strikingly similar to an Elder Scrolls knight -- the developers have reworked the third-person view due to the "negative feedback from its last role-player," CVG reports. The health system allows you to hit enemies -- and subsequently lets enemies hit you -- in specific points on the body.Remnants from previous Fallout titles include: The Karma system! Radiation poisoning. As indicated from the trailer, Ron Perlman Liam "I'm your daddy" Neeson will appear in the opening of the game as your are born in a vault hospital, showing traits similar to the ones you choose for your character.
