Rock Band Weekly: Roy Orbison, KISS
To celebrate what would have been the legendary Roy Orbison's 75th birthday, next week's Rock Band DLC includes three songs from the artist. Don't fret, dream baby, if those tracks don't do it for you, there are already plenty of solid Orbison tracks available in the Rock Band store. There are also a couple individual tracks from KISS. Both songs are live versions of their greatest hits "Rock and Roll All Nite" and "Strutter." Chewable blood packs and pyrotechnics sold separately. Head past the break for the full DLC details.

Rock Band Weekly: Roy Orbison
As CMT foretold, Roy Orbison tracks will be available as Rock Band DLC. Sadly, "I Drove All Night" isn't one of the songs, but there's still plenty of tracks to croon to while wearing giant black-rimmed glasses.Roy Orbison Pack (800 / $10) "Claudette" (160 / $2) "In Dreams" (160 / $2) "Mean Woman Blues" (160 / $2) "Oh, Pretty Woman" (160 / $2) "Ooby Dooby" (160 / $2) "You Got It" (160 / $2) All tracks are masters and videos can be found after the break. The Xbox 360 will have the songs available for download Tuesday, January 6. The PS3 will receive them a week later on January 15, due to the PSN's holiday break. There's currently no word about when the two consoles will sync up again, but we've contacted Sony and HMX to find out.
CMT says Roy Orbison coming to Rock Band
CMT, the MTV-owned country music station, has let slip that a track pack of Roy's tunes will be hitting Rock Band 2. As fans of the fellow, we're glad to see him get on board the DLC train to Moneytown, USA. So, what could the tracks be? That's anybody's guess right now. And, guess what? We're anybody!Head past the break for our guess of two tracks that could be featured in this upcoming pack, and be sure to tell us your guess in the comments!
Mii Spotlight: Musician edition
Another week has passed, so it must be time for Wii Fanboy's Mii Spotlight! Last week, after Eric showed off how good it was to be a gangsta, we sent out a request for musician Miis, and we got a few that we're excited about showing off. If you haven't yet seen your Mii here, be patient -- we're saving some of the submissions for later editions. If your Mii is creative, well-made, and interesting, don't despair. You'll probably see it here eventually! It just takes time to get enough that are thematically linked. But we also need to make something very clear: the Miis you send us need to be your own, or you need to credit the original maker if you're sending photos of other people's work. We've had some complaints that not all of the Miis we've featured were actually made by the person claiming credit. It's one thing to see a Mii somewhere and make your own based on that, and another thing altogether to take someone's photos and send them in as your own. We can't check everything, and there's no real way to verify, so we ask you simply to be honest, and please remember to be respectful of people who put their spare time into creating Miis for your enjoyment. But enough with the lectures -- let's see some Miis!
