There's always a challenge involved in making a raid video. It's an awesome way to show off the skills and accomplishments of your guild, but how do you do it in an interesting, fun way? Seranna seems to have that problem well under hand, creating the The Aggronots to show off his guild's encounters with the raids of Mists of Pandaria. I like the story book format, and I'll admit: the rocking tunes in the background appealed to the long-haired metal fan in me. If nothing else, this is one fine music video. Fire and Thunder is sort of a raid video in the clothes of a frame story. Ostensibly, a shaman employs magic and fire to relay the tale of the Throne of Thunder to a group of young children. In reality, the video shows off some fairly standard (but impressive!) raid scenes. While raid videos are often overdone, my hat's off to Seranna for working hard to make them more interesting. Raid videos are outstanding tools for guild promotion and motivation, and Fire and Thunder does a great job of making that genre a little more entertaining. Interested in the wide world of machinima?
