Steam weekly deals: Velvet Assassin, Syberia games, Greed Corp
This week Steam is hot and cold (yes and no, in and out, up and down), taking a trip to the Asian tundra with a 75 percent off sale on Syberia 1 and 2, and then down to tell the tale of Violette Summer in Velvet Assassin.Also 75 percent off this week are casual platformer Spectraball, action-adventure Gatling Gears and strategy game Greed Corp, which we will pretend take place in hot, cold and hot climates. All six games are on sale through March 11 at 10 a.m. PT.
Syberia series travels to Steam on the cheap
To celebrate the long, dangerous trek that both Syberia and Syberia 2 had to endure to arrive on Steam, both titles are 20 percent off until next Thursday, May 26 at 1PM ET. That's $8 a pop for these two adventure games from the early aughts. Both titles follow Kate Walker, a lawyer from NYC, who is on a journey across Europe to shut down an automaton factory. Along the way, she come across a host of characters and events that change her life irrevocably as she's swept up in all those clickable objects.
