If you haven't seen this summer's Avengers movie, you totally should, and if you have, then you might be interested to hear that the upcoming Marvel Heroes is embracing the blockbuster's wardrobe. The superhero MMO will be including the film versions of Thor's, Iron Man's, Black Widow's, Hawkeye's, Hulk's, and Captain America's costumes. The game's devs assured players that the costumes won't just be for eye candy alone but "will also tie in key game systems in fun and unique ways." Marvel Heroes will offer many costume variants based on both the comics and the films, although the devs say that covering all of them might be a task that only a true superhero could accomplish. "Some of those experimental looks didn't exactly stand the test of time," the announcement explains.

If you left the theater after watching Marvel / Disney / Joss Whedon's The Avengers ready to buy the Blu-ray disc as soon as it hit then get your credit cards ready. As Blu-ray.com notes, Amazon has listings for both a 2-disc Blu-ray edition and a 4-disc Blu-ray 3D version, but the one that's caught our eye is the just updated listing for Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase One - Avengers Assembled. A 10 disc set, it has every movie in this chapter of Marvel flicks -- Avengers, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man 1 & 2, The Incredible Hulk -- with 3D copies where applicable plus collectible packaging and a bonus "The Phase One Archives" disc. The only pic of the casing we have is the promo image shown above which hints at a replica of Nick Fury's Cosmic Cube suitcase from the movie, but more information is promised to be revealed July 15th. Until then you'll have to decide if $153 ($25~ per movie) is worth it for the set, or maybe take this time to finance it by selling off your existing copies on Craigslist. Your choice. [Thanks, Victor]

  • Avengers Assemble! Transmogrify your own superhero team

Transmogrification isn't just for making your character pretty or wearing old sets. Where's the fun in that? There are thousands of pieces to choose from for your look, and there's no reason you can't make it a distinctive one -- paying homage to video games or popular comics is just as much fun as being pretty. Today, we've got an iconic foursome of characters who have been staples in Marvel comics for decades and recently made a smashing success with the film The Avengers. Though Warcraft's armor doesn't contain exact replica's of Ironman's iconic armor or Captain America's easily recognizable shield, you can still use transmogrification to compile a look that screams Marvel Comics. Just because the Hulk doesn't wear anything more than a pair of pants in the comics doesn't mean we can't capture his look through some well-placed camouflage. And even though we can't get our hands on Mjolnir, there are more than enough warhammers lying around to find a good replica.

  • Marvel vs. Capcom 3 screens are light on the curleh mustaches

Click image to jump into our gallery Capcom has finally released some in-game shots of Marvel vs Capcom 3. The screens are missing HUD elements, but that's fine -- we just wanted to see how the game would "blur the line between 2D and 3D graphics." Frankly, we're surprised it doesn't look more like Super Street Fighter IV. And not a single curleh mustache in sight? How will the fans react? Head into our gallery below to check out the new screens, which feature a Ryu vs Wolverine match-up, Iron Man shooting Morrigan in the face and a trigger-happy Chris Redfield taking on The Hulk. %Gallery-93783%

This last weekend, press had the opportunity to spend my time within the Champions Online beta. After playing more than I would safely recommend, I bring you my personal takeaway in an effort to get out as much crunchy information goodness on the upcoming MMO as possible.Do you like options? I really hope you love options, because you're going to get smacked upside the head with so many options when you first encounter Champions Online's character creation, that your mind -- much like my own -- is going to be reeling with all the possibilities. Each and every time I made a thematically new hero, the creation process ate up more time than I ever thought possible. Let me explain why this happens, and what you can expect when you first sit down to make your very own creations.

The fourth quarter continues to hit on all cylinders for Blu-ray this week with yet another nice slate of titles. At the top of the list is two pretty good movies, Sweeney Todd and The Incredible Hulk. When Johnny Depp stars in a Tim Burton flick, it is almost always worth the cost of admission and at the same time, Edward Norton tries his hand at being the Hulk, and considering how bad the last Hulk movie was, and how Norton has never done a bad movie, it shouldn't disappoint. The remaining titles are just about all James Bond movies, as MGM releases all the classics on Blu, and in addition, Sony is double-dipping with Casino Royale. Looking ahead, there isn't that much to get excited about in the immediate future, but things do get rolling again in about a month when WALL-E hits in mid-November.Blu-ray Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (DreamWorks) The Incredible Hulk (Universal) Casino Royale: Collector's Edition (Sony) Die Another Day - James Bond (MGM) Dr. No - James Bond (MGM) For Your Eyes Only - James Bond (MGM) From Russia with Love - James Bond (MGM) Live and Let Die - James Bond (MGM) Thunderball - James Bond (MGM) James Bond Blu-ray Collection Six-Pack (MGM) James Bond Blu-ray Collection Three-Pack Vol 1 (MGM) James Bond Blu-ray Collection Three-Pack Vol 2 (MGM) Funny Games (101) Kiss of the Spider Woman: Collector's Edition (City Lights) The Strangers (Universal) The Woods Have Eyes (Echo Bridge) Diary of the Dead (Weinstein) The Breed (First Look) Halloween (Weinstein)

Universal Studios just keeps on cranking out the HD DVDs. First up, Miami Vice is hitting the shelves on December 5 as a DVD/HD DVD combo disc embedded with Dolby Digital TrueHD 5.1 audio track. Then the following week The Hulk is finally seeing the light of day and Kevin Costner's Field of Dreams are going to be available on the format. Both of these discs are going to carry a price of $29.99 and the Miami Vice combo will hit at $39.99. At this rate, sooner or later Universal is going to run out of titles in their vast library -- well, maybe not, but they are sure releasing a bunch of HD DVDs lately.Read: Miami ViceRead: The Hulk and Field of Dreams

The Man Room is reporting that The Hulk not going to be coming out on November 14 as previously announced. We have no idea why Universal Studios has bumped the release but sometimes these studios do know more then we do. This just proves that delays aren't something that only the Blu-ray camp has to deal with. We will update our release calendar accordingly and keep you up-to-date when the title gets re-announced.
