The Television Academy has revealed this year's Emmy nominations and to absolutely no one's surprise, Game of Thrones scooped up the most nods with 32, including Outstanding Drama Series and 10 nominees across various acting categories. The show with the second-highest tally of nominations is Amazon Prime Video's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel with 20. It won several awards last year, including the top Outstanding Comedy Series prize. It's nominated again in that category.

CBS All Access just gave nostalgia-seekers something to watch this weekend. As promised, the streaming service has released a version of Jordan Peele's The Twilight Zone series in black and white. It's an homage to the 1959 show, of course, but it should also add a sinister edge to scenes that previously felt too... well, colorful.

It's not often that streaming services are willing to release new versions of their shows to cater to fans, but CBS All Access is willing to make an exception. It's launching a black-and-white version of Jordan Peele's The Twilight Zone on May 30th to cater to fans who wished the show harkened back to the look of the original. It shouldn't alter the actual content, but it might help if watching in color feels like a crime.

  • Netflix signs up some TV shows from CBS' library for Watch Instantly streaming

Let's be honest, as much as we all like to play film snob, we're thinking more of you watch Family Ties, Star Trek and Cheers than the works of Bergman and Kurosawa. As long as that's the case, perhaps the pain of losing Criterion's content to Hulu Plus will be eased by word of a new deal with CBS bringing a slew of its older shows including the aforementioned plus Twin Peaks, The Twilight Zone and newer-but-not-new shows like Medium to the service for two years starting in early April. No word on how big of a check the now-20 million strong Netflix had to cut to pull this off, but the deal is non-exclusive, so you could see all of these on Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, Redbox or... you get the picture.

  • The OverAchiever: The good, the bad, the ugly, and the weird

Every Thursday, The Overachiever shows you how to work toward those sweet achievement points. This week, we reminisce on that auld lang syne ... that nobody really misses. It occurred to me recently that we've never really done a retrospective piece on achievements. Sure, we've rounded up stuff like entertaining achievements and evil achievements, but we've never really looked at their impact on the game as a whole. There's an article in that, but it won't be this one. New Year's Eve is tomorrow, and I'm in the mood for some brainless fun. While I was writing this article, a number of the achievements that came to mind were the product of tier 7 raids, and I think I know why. Wrath raiding achievements were the first time Blizzard had experimented with their inclusion in raid content, and the implementation occasionally had some bizarre results. There was also the pressure cooker of having to finish Glory of the Raider before the rewards disappeared (a very belated announcement), and there was never that sense of urgency with Ulduar or Icecrown achievements. Anyway, let me know what you think.

  • Voidwalker tanks Sartharion 10 with three drakes

When I grow up, I want to be like Seche. Or more importantly, I want Grimkrast to grow up like Makgarth. Let me explain. Choren first tipped us off to this a few days back, but because we were in such shock at the whole thing it took me only now to write it up -- the guild Damaged Goods downed 10-man Sartharion with three drakes up with a Voidwalker main tanking Sartharion. They have a video of it but to be honest I couldn't see the Voidwalker doing his job. On the other hand, it turns out Voidwalkers have a knack for tanking dragons with flame breaths that one-shot normal tanks because Township Rebellion's Seche from US Crushridge also did it with his pet Makgarth. Now I've never dreamed of letting Grimkrast tank anything. He holds aggro about as well as a wet noodle. But then again I've never specced for it, so that's probably my fault. After all, Voidwalkers tanked Illidan back in the day, didn't they? So while The Twilight Zone is arguably the toughest raid Achievement in the game (I personally think it's the Heroic version that's tougher because you need 25 people to not die to void zones instead of 10), it's apparently doable with a Voidwalker. Michael Sacco reported getting Twilight Zone using this method, too. Watch the fun video and follow the link for screenshots of the event. I think it's time to send Grimkrast to the gym.
