Longer combos (and subsequently, higher scores and bigger disappointments) are likely taking place on a virtual skate-park near you, as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD's Revert Pack has successfully landed all four of its polymer wheels on XBLA and PSN.PC proponents of preposterous push-board performances can expect the DLC to hit Steam "within a couple days," an Activision representative has informed us. Right now though, console kickers can get the download's three Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 levels for 400 MS Points/$4.99. All users, however, will receive the eponymous "revert" ability as a free system update, which allows for combo continuation by linking ground and vertical tricks.%Gallery-172816%

Xbox Live's Major Nelson has released the list of content coming to Xbox Live over the next few weeks. It all kicks off today with a trip of Sega fighters launching on Xbox Live Arcade: Virtua Fighter 2, Sonic the Fighters and Fighting Vipers. You can take your pick at 400 MS Points ($5) each, half the initial asking price. Guardians of Middle Earth will make its trek to Xbox Live Arcade on December 5. The Revert DLC for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD also drops in on December 5 for 400 MS Points ($5). Finally, that week will also see the debut of Skyrim's second DLC pack on Xbox Live, the 1600 MS Point ($20) Dragonborn expansion on December 4. On the savings front, this week's Deal of the Week revolves around GTA IV – the vanilla game starring cousin Niko is available through Games on Demand (price varies by region) with the Lost and Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony expansions being offered until December 3 for 400 MS Points and 800 MS Points each, respectively. Next week, from December 4 to the 10th, Deadliest Warrior and all of its DLC will be discounted. Additional Kinect-focused deals are available through Xbox Live's Sales & Specials app – this week Burnout Crash is on sale for 400 MS Points ($5) with next week's deals focusing on Ubisoft's stable of Kinect games.

On December 4, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD will add three levels from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 as premium DLC: Los Angeles, Airport and Canada. Along with these levels, the revert ability from THPS 3 will be included in the 400 MS Point ($4.99) DLC package. However, the revert was previously localized to those three DLC levels only, and now Activision says all Tony Hawk HD players will receive a free update adding revert to the original levels. So if you want the three additional levels, you can snag them on December 4 for half a sawbuck or you can take the free update and up your high scores on the original lineup pulled from the first two Tony Hawk games. Or you can do both. Really it's entirely up to you.%Gallery-171573%

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD's "Revert Pack" DLC has been pushed back until the first week of December, Activision has announced on the game's Facebook page. Originally, the DLC pack containing select levels from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 was slated to hit consoles in early November."It's later than all of us hoped, and we're sorry about that," the update reads. When it does launch, however, the DLC will be available on 360, PS3 and PC, as the Steam version of the game is now available. If nothing else, the delay will at least allows more time for our shattered knee-caps to heal after trying to do some of this stuff in real life. Getting hit by a speeding golf cart can do a lot of damage, as it turns out.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD is on Steam for PC right now. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD is normally $10, but now through the end of the month it's down 10 percent to $9.The PC version doesn't include the multiplayer modes – local or online – featured in the XBLA and PSN versions that launched earlier this year. Tony Hawk's Steam release includes four single-player modes and new objectives. The Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 HD Revert Pack will hit as DLC for $5 soon after release, and includes three levels from that original game.

The Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 DLC for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD still doesn't have an official release date, but at least we can take a gander at what two of its three levels look like in action. The videos, both above and after the break, show off the $5 DLC pack's Airport and Los Angeles levels (respectively), as well as its exclusive revert move. The third level's location remains a mystery at the moment, as do the identities of the pro skaters that will also be included in the DLC, but what we do know is that riding a skateboard like that in an airport would get you thrown in prison, or jail, or both.In related news, THPSHD launches on PSN today, nearly six weeks after its original release as an Xbox Live Summer of Arcade jam back in July. When asked if he was excited about the PSN version, a random skateboard person in front of our bank did a kickflip and called us a "suit," which we think is street lingo for "You bet!"

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD managed to move into 120,000 hard drives during its first week on Xbox Live Arcade. Robomodo head honcho Josh Tsui told Gamasutra that early success will eventually lead to a "fuller game.""By making it 'lower risk' we were allowed to take some chances, which benefits both developer and publisher," Tsui said. He also noted that "the prospect of a fuller game is definitely on the table" and that it's "just a matter of when and how."Of course, first thing's first: PC and PS3 ports of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD are still waiting in the wings, as is some DLC focused around Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. But after that, Tsui seems to think Activision will be more open to publishing a new game.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD was clearly a good business call, as the franchise update earned 120,000 sales during its first week on XBLA. Developer Robomodo shared the detail with Gamasutra, noting the sales have remained "consistent" since launch. The game will make its way to PSN in late August and later this year for PC. We're of the firm opinion that your time is too precious, too valuable to be spent reading a full review for a game that was already reviewed many, many years ago. What's the point of applying a score to a game that's old enough to be enrolled in the sixth grade? That's why we invented Deja Review: A quick look at the new features and relative agelessness of remade, revived and re-released games. If you played the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, you probably remember exactly when you got your first million points on Warehouse. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD allows us all to relive that memory while simultaneously bringing the games that started it all to a new audience. Thanks to developer Robomodo's careful recreation of seven select levels from the first two Pro Skater games, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD evokes a strong sense of nostalgia. It plays just like you remember; that secret spot where you pushed your score (and your board) skyward is there, waiting for you to discover it all over again. %Gallery-160221%

The $5 DLC arriving roughly a month after the launch of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD will bring back the revert, a kind of bridge move introduced in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 that allows players to chain together combos they couldn't otherwise in previous games. Activision confirmed the news to Joystiq at a recent event. There's one catch: revert will only work within the DLC, and will not be a compatible mechanic in the core Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD game. Bummer, brah. An Activision rep told us this is because "reverts were introduced in THPS3 and the levels were designed accordingly."Yesterday, Activision told us Airport will be one of the three THPS3 levels to make the cut in the DLC, and that several more skate pros will be added as part of the $5 DLC pack. Above you can see the very first screen from the remade Airport map.

On July 18, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD kicks off the Summer of Arcade on Xbox Live. Around 30-45 days after launch, a $5 DLC pack will be added, full of select content from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3.Activision reps couldn't get into specifics on exactly what would be added, but we at least know Airport is one of the levels that made the cut, and that more pros will be included. If this all sounds familiar, it's because the Hawk himself pegged other games in the series as potential sources of DLC for Pro Skater HD.

XBLA's Summer of Arcade 2012 begins on July 18 with the HD-ified rebirth of Tony Hawk Pro Skater for 1200 MS Points ($15). The following week, Iron Galaxy's Angry Birds meets Boom Blox Kinect flinger Wreckateer arrives for 800 MS Points ($10), with Deadlight, Hybrid, and Dust: An Elysian Tail launching in the subsequent weeks, all for 1200 MS Points ($15) a pop.Microsoft is offering an incentive (as always) to spur multiple Summer of Arcade purchases, giving those who snag "any three of the above titles" a free 400 MS Points ($5). From the look of things, that won't be too hard a sell.Additionally, Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD is heading to PlayStation Network "a few weeks" after it launches on Xbox Live Arcade, but the rest of the Summer of Arcade games are exclusive to 360 (at least for now).

During pre-show coverage of Microsoft's E3 press conference, Microsoft Studios head Phil Spencer revealed the lineup of this year's Summer of Arcade promotion. The first game he talked about was Hyrbid, 5th Cell's jetpack-driven multiplayer shooter. This was followed by a brief vignette of Deadlight, the Tequila Works side-scroller set in a post-apocalyptic world. Next was Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD from Robomodo, followed by Wreckateer for Kinect. Rounding out the list is Dust: An Elysian Tale. There's no word on when Summer of Arcade kicks off – summer, right? – but considering Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD drops in on July 11, at least we have some idea of the Summer of Arcade window.

We've been pretty worried about the fate of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD's soundtrack after we caught word that the remake probably wouldn't have all of the songs featured in the first two Pro Skater titles, stemming from licensing issues and whatnot. Now that the complete soundtrack has been released, though, we're feeling a little more confident about hitting the asphalt goofy-style once more. The complete track list can be found after the break, and we're glad to say that "Superman" by Goldfinger and "When Worlds Collide" by Powerman 5000 are both present and accounted for. The new replacement tracks include stylistically appropriate songs such as "Flyentology" by hip-hop artist El-P (featuring Trent Reznor). El-P once featured on the Del the Funky Homosapien track "Offspring," and Del's song "If You Must" was on the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 soundtrack. If we're playing by Six Degrees of Separation rules, we can call that a winner.

Robomodo's Unreal Engine-powered remake Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD will drop in on Xbox Live and PSN this June, Tony Hawk himself has revealed. He took to Twitter to announce the launch window, as he is wont to do.Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD is a remake featuring select levels from the first two games, which originally debuted on the PSOne. Tony has said that, depending on the HD remake's reception, we could see other past levels added – Hawk even envisions Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD as a platform for completely new content.

While old-school skating fans are no doubt itching to pick up Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD, it turns out that the idea of an HD remake is actually several years old. Hawk pitched the idea years ago, the skater recently told IGN, although Activision originally turned the project down because "it wasn't the right time."Now, through the magic of digital distribution, Hawk wants to see Pro Skater HD become a platform unto itself. We knew that other popular levels from the series could be released as downloadable content for Pro Skater HD, but Hawk is hoping to see new content released as well, including levels, skaters and even new tricks. It's worth noting that Activision is apparently taking a "wait and see" approach to downloadable content for Pro Skater HD. When asked about the possibility of DLC earlier this year, a spokesperson told Joystiq, "Activision will see how THPS HD does and go from there."
