Looking for some great video game deals? Well, look no further than Circuit City and the Sunday newspaper ads. This week, Circuit City is slashing $20 off select games including titles like TMNT ($29.99), GRAW 2 ($39.99), Spider-Man 3 ($39.99) and Call of Duty 3 ($39.99). Also, since both the Red and Black Edition Player Packs will be free downloads, why not pick up Rainbow Six Vegas for the low, low price of $39.99 too? You can't pass that up. Maybe new releases are more up your alley, then we advise picking up a free $10 gift card with a Transformers: The Game purchase. And if you're in the market for Shadowrun, purchase it for $37.99 on Windows Vista and Circuit City will throw in a wireless receiver for free! All deals are available online or in-store, so save a few bucks and pick up some new games to add to your video game library this week.

There are 4 Transformers: The Game videos available on Marketplace. One of them is the opening cinematic of the game, whilst the other three are all interviews. The first interview is with the game developer itself, and the other two are with lead actors from the film, Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox. Also worth noting is that in the text field that usually has some information like the developer or something above the file size is "<String text>". Very nice. Either way, the interviews vary from 67 to 94 MB a piece and the cinematic weighs in at 102 MB. Minor flub in the tagged information notwithstanding, are you interested in this movie to game adaptation, or do you think it will just end up as Achievement fodder?

The Achievements for Transformers: The Game have become available, although the vast majority have been hidden under the guise of Secret Achievements. The naming convention of the Achievements is following the trend of using humorous pop culture references. Our favourites is the Back to the Future reference in "We Don't Need Roads" or "Mad Skillz" for its unnecessary yet visually amusing "z". Either way, the game looks to be an interesting title, will you be checking it out?

Yesterday, we showed you the box art for Transformers: The Game Cybertron Edition, though at the time we didn't have any further details other than how it will look on store shelves. Well, now we've got the rundown of what sets the CE apart. First off, it's exclusively available at EBStop, which could be another article on its own. The CE will also have two bonus "Cybertron" levels, one for Decepticons and the other for Autobots. The second DVD will come with Behind the Scenes interviews with Shia Labeouf, as well as the voice actors for Optimus Prime and Megatron, Peter Cullen and Frank Welker. Finally, a prequel comic book will be packed in the limited edition packaging, and you can have it all for the MSRP of $69.99. Do you think it's worth it?

This time, however, the headline doesn't fit the slogan's style. In all seriousness though, we've got the box art for both versions of Transformers: The Game, the standard edition that mirrors the movie poster, and the Cybetron Edition, that features the Autobot and Decepticon's respective logos, playing further into the choosing of sides that we discussed earlier today. So here's a different choice, fanboys, without any further knowledge on price or added features, which of these two versions will you pick up?

First off, note that the headline is supposed to be read in the same tone as the "More than meets the eye" or "Robots in disguise" slogans. Planet Xbox 360 has a cool High Definition video about the choice in the upcoming Transformers game based off the film of ironically the same name. Either way, you've got a choice to make: Autobots or Decepticons? Whichever you choose, you'll still be able to wreak havoc in the destructible environments. So, we ask again: Autobot or Decepticon, fanboy?

Yesterday, Activision gave us a sneak peek into their upcoming game Transformers: The Game by releasing a screenshot. Yes, they only released a single screenshot, but it is an exciting screenshot none the less. We don't get too much more information from this single screen, but it looks like the art style is more on the "dirty" side of things, and is it us or did they just release a somewhat blurry screenshot? No matter, we'll be seeing plenty of Transformers goodness this year ... like it or not.[Thanks, DjDATZ]

Considering it has a transforming 360, it's no surprise that Transformers the movie will serve as inspiration for Transformers The Game. Activision has made a new fact sheet available for the game, revealing its features and platforms. The game is set to hit every console known to man, including our beloved 360. The game is being developed by Traveller's Tales, who recently made a splash with the LEGO Star Wars games. Transformers The Game will feature both Autobot and Decepticon campaigns, allowing players to choose good or evil, respectively. Player characters will be able to transform on the fly, offering various combat options. The environments are destructible and can also be used as weapons during combat. The fact sheet also mentions "head-to-head" battles though it is unclear if this refers to multiplayer or not. The game promises a huge lineup of playable characters including Optimus Prime, Megatron, Ironhide, Bumblebee, Barricade, and our personal favorite, Starscream.Transformers The Game is currently scheduled for a summer 2007 release.[Via 360 Arcadians]
