With a few months still to go before Warlords of Draenor arrives, we're stuck in something of a WoW doldrums. Sure, we have plenty of time to catch up on our virtual to-do lists to get achievements we've never gotten or finish leveling yet another alt... but so close to the expansion, the question also remains: why bother? In a few months, the gear we've spent so long collecting will be replaced with new starting zone gear and only the memories (and the achievement points) of Pandaria will remain. So it's no surprise that Team WoW Insider is doing a lot of stuff that doesn't involve playing WoW this weekend. So what is everyone playing? Read on to find out and be sure to chime in with what you're playing this weekend in the comments section.

That's right, ladies and gentlemen! Because you demanded it, or because we were pressed for time and needed something to show for our efforts, Eliot is back on WRUP for one week only! Featuring all of your favorite acts, such as flying whales that hate pizza, ducks, animal photos, and repeating a single word multiple times in a truly baffling display of what can sometimes be done in this format! This is only available for this week, so act now! But wait, there's more! If you click past the link right now, you can also find out what the Massively staff is up to over the weekend, which is ostensibly the point of this feature in the first place! You can also let us know what you'll be up to in the comments. And now, the part you've been waiting for, the return performance, which is... Ah, never mind, out of space. Sorry! Same time next year?

There's gonna be video games, too... and three press conferences. Microsoft, Sony and EA will all have new things to say next Tuesday and Wednesday. We'll be there with our liveblog hats on. Welcome back to Massively's What Are You Playing, the game in which we tell you what we're playing this weekend and you tell us how gaming journalists who are paid to preview games should handwave worrying fundamental problems in a major pre-launch MMO because, you know, it's just a beta. After all, you definitely don't want to hear about games before they launch, unless it's an opinion that perfectly mirrors your preferred reality, which is why you don't patronize MMO websites. Right? Right.

"Theorizing that one could time travel within his own lifetime, Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. He woke to find himself trapped in the past, facing mirror images that were not his own and driven by an unknown force to change history for the better. His only guide on this journey is Al, an observer from his own time, who appears in the form of a hologram that only Sam can see and hear. And so, Dr. Beckett finds himself leaping from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong, and hoping each time that his next leap... will be the leap home." We've been all about the Bakula lately on Joystiq Streams. What show from your own lifetime would you like to see made into a (good) game? What's everybody playing?

But wouldn't that make a great geeky rom-com?

You can watch all of the top picks from the Joystiq staff in the YouTube playlist above. Now let's hear yours! Here are the rules we had to follow: 1) Yes, they must be from 2004-2014. 2) No remakes, reissues, HD remixes, etc. The original version of the game must be from the past decade. Share your top ten after the break or just let us know what you're playing this weekend.

There's been a surprising amount of news this week. It's like warlords from some not-quite-time-travel location are finally catching up to us. Whether we're talking about the night time being dark or just kind of dim, or exciting new fiery corgis, it feels like things are finally happening. So when we asked What R U Playing this weekend, we also asked: what's been your favorite bit of news? What's on your mind about recent events? Also, most importantly, is the Corgi the best pet ever, or just the best pet available?
