The second installment of Blizzards animated short series Lords of War debuted today, shedding more background on the leader of the Iron Horde: Grommash Hellscream. There's not doubt that Grommash is a pivotal figure in the upcoming expansion, with his son, Garrosh, having been a central figure in the Mists of Pandaria. Like the previous installment of Lords of War, the new episode opens with Maraad urging Varian to take the offensive and march through the new Dark Portal to face the Iron Horde head on. He then goes on to tell the tale of the events that earned Grommash the undying loyalty of his Warsong clan and how he, against incredible odds, bested the ogre nations united against him. We also get a glimpse of Grommash's mate, Golka, and her fate at the hands of the retaliating ogres. Check out Lords of War Part Two: Grommash, and learn more about the senior Hellscream, and what makes him who he is.

The latest episode of CarBot Animations' wonderful series, Wowcraft, is now available. In its fourth installment, we depart from our orc friend and his adventures in Durotar to focus on his purple, long-eared enemies up north. Yes, I'm talking about the night elves, and episode four is all about a struggling night elf hunter who is clearly attacking a training dummy that's a few levels (or fifty) above his own, to disastrous consequences. I'm really enjoying these little shorts from CarBot. They're a loving, light-hearted bit of fun at WoW's expense, and I particularly like the mount gag at the end. Where does my druid keep those 150 giant beasts (plus enormous kite--seriously, that thing is huge) that she can call on to cart her around the world? And, more importantly, why does she bother, when she can turn into a bird? The world may never know.

There have been some truly spectacular visual moments in Azeroth; scenes that make you gasp and glee. I'm thinking of occasions like the Scourge Invasion of Stormwind and Orgrimar or Kael'thas blowing up his room in Tempest Keep. Who can deny Wrathgate was incredible. However, there are also some awesome little animations that really add so much to the game. It's these little things that we can take for granted but sometimes jump out at us as something wonderful.Even on a hard night of raid wiping in our guild, if someone chugs a stack of Pygmy Oil and /cower's it's bound to bring a laugh. Many a machinima has featured a /dance, from one race or many, with variously spectacular and humorous results.Who's /flex is better, Draenei or Blood Elf? Have you ever left one of your characters alone for a while and then had their idle-animation surprise you? Are there any actions or animations you wish were in the game? What animations bring a smile to your face?
