How do you know someone's been playing since Vanilla? Don't worry, they'll tell you. ...My apologies to Gewain, in this thread, because I've stolen his joke. It's definitely a smash hit as far as WoW jokes go, and I winced a little even as I laughed, because, well, I recognize myself in there, at least a little bit. So far, most people seem to be sticking to the "clean jokes only" request of the original poster, which is nice to see. Not every single joke has struck me as entirely funny, but a couple have elicited a barking belly laugh from me, which I certainly appreciate. WoW has a deep enough subculture and has been around for long enough that I'm sure there's plenty of fodder for good jokes, at least from people who are more clever than myself. If you've got an EU account, maybe head on over to the thread and add your own, and if you don't, tell us what they are in the comments! I'm going to bug the heck out of my guild with my favorites, for sure. Hey, what do rogues and noobs have in common? They both pick locks!* *My GM's main is a warlock.

Texts From Last Night (NSFW language warning) isn't exactly a new website, and neither is the idea of taking one of the texts featured there and pairing it with some sort of imagery to add to the hilarity. So really, the appearance of Texts From Azeroth, where selected texts are paired with WoW screenshots, was only a matter of time. I feel compelled to say this again: just assume that nothing beyond either of those links is safe for work. It's better that way. I am almost embarrassed at how entertaining I am finding this blog. At first I saw it and thought, "Oh, this might be amusing" and within ten minutes I was weeping with laughter, linking pictures to Facebook, and trawling the Texts From Last Night page looking for inspiration. Making that header image up there represents a few glorious moments of my life that I can never get back. Oh yes. Cherished readers of WoW Insider, do share in the comments -- which are your personal favorites? I'm quite partial to Garrosh and Kromgar here, for example. If you decide to make your own, link it here, and/or submit it to Texts From Azeroth yourself! Just please include a warning if the subject matter could potentially get someone in trouble. That's all we ask.

NoObz is still on holiday, but Ding! has been updated. In other news, Disgraph has a new new site, because the new one liked to take a lot of naps. While everyone loves naps, they are not for websites. I have to say, I am loving the new design, although the text is a bit more difficult to read. Cru the Dwarf celebrates its first year! Dark Legacy Comics: Luck? Experience Points has two new WoW-related comics, and while one involves Twitter, the other is another Dear Diary. On Flintlocke vs the Horde, the battle over the owl and the bunny continues to rage. GU Comics: Burning a Hole and Sorn Motors. LFG: Richard has left for awhile, and his absence is being felt. Haxxed! Noobcow is a Stranger in a Strange Land. Kissybear is feeling a little out of his element too. Good thing he's starting the all new Panda Attack! Massive Pwnage: Achievement. NPC: Motivation. I completely agree with the sentiment expressed here. Alas. Teh Glads: They Are Finally United. The Adventures of Disgraph T. Dwarf: Plots are Over Rated. As a bonus, mouseover the image and read the alternative text. World of Warcraft, eh? 'Bulls'-Eye.
