Errrr yeah and what year was Terminator 2 set in? Looks to me like they've just designed the gui to fit in with the T2 look. Which, funnily enough, would of been about the mid 90's.
Dont worry. When you buy a new bluray player you can get this feature too, unless you have a ps3. Thats about 90% of the bluray players in the world though.
I already have the european T2 release on hddvd and the blu version in the us. I dont think i will dip again though.
Wait a minute... that website shows a CSI: Miami release of the fifth season for HD DVD coming out in March. What region is getting that release??????
Am I the only one that doesn't realy give a shit about all these special features? I just want to watch a good film, I can never be bothered with the extra crap and always ignore it.

Yes it's just you and a handfull of people.
People enjoy special features a lot that's why they're included. If you want a bald movie only disc then you should root for better pricing
No, you're not alone. All that silly menu stuff is all whip cream to me. The main thing is the movie. After all, that's the reason we buy the movies for.
Well, actually when I buy movies it's for the extras.
Otherwise I just download it :/

Agreed, I hate the fliff as well. I own an HD-DVD player as well as a Blu-Ray player. I never take the quizes, I don't want to see the actors masturbate eachothers' egos in "outtakes", and I don't want to see a trailer for a movie that I'll never want to see. There's a 1 in 100 chance I'll want to hear what the director has to say, and I'm sure people use the language features, but other than video and additional audio tracks, I don't think there should be anything else on an optical disc.

When will the realise that filling up the empty space with crappy extras is a waste of money, all we want is the dam film ffs with as little DRM as possible so we can watch it via iso on our notebooks or mp4 on our smartphones or ipods.
but thanks to the MPAA DRM is here to stay, until they get their 1 licence per device 1 licence per user, oh and the global price fixing which is region coding on films.

I hope this interface isn't slow like the HD-DVD interactive menus are on the 360. Java sucks, why the hell did they have to use that for the menus/features?
