I just purchased my ice cream maker about a week ago and have only made a few desserts so far. I ones I have made are great though! However, I am having a bit of a problem with the ice cream. After freezing it for more than a few hours, it goes rock hard and not smooth at all. I’m not sure if it's something I’m doing wrong or if this is how it is supposed to be with homemade ice cream. The sorbets and sherbets are great though, they stay nice and smooth after freezing. I love this new unit and I will continue to experiment with new recipes!
