Cingular's Escape-A-Date
We're pretty sure none of the fine ladies we've been squiring about town would ever dream of using this, but
Cingular is offering a new service called "Escape-A-Date" that will actually automatically call you at a pre-set time
to help you extricate yourself from any unpleasant situations. There are even eight different scripts that prompt you
to say the right things so you can make it sound like you've just gotten a very important and urgent call that requires
you to leave immediately.

Virgin Mobile has had this feature around for a while too, you know, just in case ;-)

The prepaid service from Virgin Mobile has had a feature like that for years called "Rescue Rings." They have wake-up calls as well.

I've used my phones built in alarm to escape from some god-awful meetings - works like a charm.
