Stickers for personalizing your HP iPod

Ok, there's at least one thing different about the HP iPod: you can cover it with customized stickers  (actually, you could probably use those stickers with the regular Apple iPod, too). They're offering one free when you buy an HP iPod, with the first ones available promoting different artists, including Ashlee Simpson, The Cure, Gwen Stefani, Keane, Lloyd Banks, Sting, the Who, the Hives, Toby Keith, and Vanessa Carlton.

UPDATE: They're calling it "Printable Tattoos" and if you don't happen to want Ashlee Simpson on your iPod (what's wrong with you?) you can buy the special die-cut paper and print out your own iPod covers with just about anything you want on 'em.

Now when Ashlee Simpson 15 minutes are up, everybody who got her sticker will have to get a whole new iPod.

I also found out that the tattoos are supposed to be easily removable.

i just called up hp and ordered the hp ipod. the cust service rep had no idea what i was talking about when i asked for the tattoo.

At HP's site they show the back of the Hp ipod and it is just about the same except it has the Hp logo plus the Mac logo. Everything about it is exactly the same.

hp website says you can get free tattoo if you purchase from compusa and ciruit city or hpshopping.com, the first two stores have no idea what the tattoo is. I checked it out this week and circuit city hasn't even got the HP in stock.

They had a sample-sticker in Rolling Stone recently (1 week ago). I put it on, noting the "easy removal"

Yeah, now my iPod is covered in sticky crap! It's horrible, and I have no idea how to get it off without damagine my pod.

And naturally, the HP site has no information on the subject...

It comes off with White Spirit - little bit on a damp cloth and it comes right out - just make sure you wipe it off with a damp cloth after - hope that helps!

So if you do your own sticker, it looks just as good as the pre-made ones? I saw they had some of these on amazon.

If you want to remove the stickyness wihtou any liquid....get an eraser (those white rectangular ones) and lightly rub the sticky parts. The rubber from the eraser grabs the sticky stuff and wipes right off. I hope this helps.

Are there any sites up with other HP Tattoo images to download other than the crappie ones on HP's site? You'd think someone would have a gallery like they do desktop backgrounds but I can't find a one. Not even the bands' sites or even on iTunes. I mean really, it would be like free advertising for them.
