With GPS coming in phone handsets, WiFi positiuong becoming more wide spread, RFID taking off as well as all the other positiong technologies that are coming on stream we can expect to see alot more of this indoors and outdoors. Very accurate indoor/office positioning is becoming a reality with products like Ubisense (http://www.ubisense.net). The smart office may be closer then we previously thought and with roaming between tracking systems location based servises could start to become usefull.
