The Segway GT transporter for golf?

There have been rumors for awhile in the Segway circles about a golf-specific Segway and it looks like it might be
happening. The Segway GT comes equipped to carry a golf bag, ice chest, scorecard, GPS equipment, and is colored red.
We're kinda disappointed, we'd like to see more Segways replacing cars and being used as robotic platforms, but hey,
you gotta go where the green is (literally).

...because golf wasn't tame enough already; heaven forbid you should raise your heart rate any.
That's a really great idea- Segways are still prohibitively expensive for most, so why not go where the people with heavy pockets like to throw their money around?
Also handy for getting around your yacht!
most people who shell out huge monthly's for country club memberships shelling out more money to get one of these... as if pimped out golf carts wasn't enough.
Nonetheless, at least, one can find comfort (figuratively and literally) knowing that the segways are getting some use --just hwen it seemed they'd become an Edsel of sorts.
From the photo, one can't tell if the hweels were made wider to accommodate turf. I surely hope they have greater width and hence greater contact area with the ground. Would not want to see under-fit golfers get stuck because the narrow hweels sank into soft turf.
