Colorware offers new iMac G5s in colors of your choice, natch.
Colorware, the company already known for
offering iPods in all sorts of colors, have continued the
practice of Turnerizing Apple products with the new iMac G5 line. Now you too can get an iMac G5 in Alpine,
Blush, Dragon, Hybrid, Lightning, or one of at least 20 available colors (Midnight is shown at right). The cost
of the colorization adds a few hundies to your iMac's price, but if you're a true individual you'll pay that price,
right?

Is Midnight Blue faster than Rainforest Green? :)
This is what I've been waiting for!! I've been dreaming of a Mac in black and now I can get one. Thank you Colorware!
Yes, blue is faster than green (there has been a profusion of blue LEDs in consumer electronics since this discovery), but black is the fastest color. Black-light LEDs are surely on the way.

I expect a howto guide to show up soon. This is something I'd consider doing to my iMac when I get it, as long as it didn't void the warrentee etc.
Then again, since I still haven't finish painting my iBook (it's been sitting on my desk with it's covers off for over 4 months now), perhaps I should just leave the damn thing alone when I get it.
