HTC Alpine aka O2 XDA IIi
Nothing like having more confusing and
similar names to add to the smartphone/PDA phone nomenclature, but some new details have surfaced about the HTC's
latest Pocket PC Phone, which is codenamed "Alpine" but has been picked up by O2 and christened the XDA IIi. More or
less a refesher of the XDA II, the XDA IIi packs in a 520Mhz processor and a 1.3 megapixel camera—not to be confused
with the XDA IIs (bear with us here) which is probably going to be released by Cingular here in the States as the
Siemens SX66. Biggest difference you're likely to
actually notice? The XDA IIi doesn't have the slide-out keyboard of the SX66/XDA II. Phew. Those ODMs never go easy on
us.

I think you meant XDA III
Only the XDA III has the slide-out keyboard.
There IS no such thing as an "XDA III" - it's called the "XDA IIs". People speculated that it would be called XDA III, and that name would make the most sense, but that is not what it is called.
Does anyone know when the XDA II i will actually be available to purchase?
I'm itching to buy an XDA but don't want to settle for the II if the II 1 will soon be available.
Ignore the first three comments, they're not quite on the money. The IIi does exist, it's the successor to the IIs, basically same exterior, better camera, faster processor, exactly as the article describes. It's called on some sites the 2s, which makes it easier to search for. Orange UK have it as the M2500 apparently.
where i can buy XDA 2i in duabi
all you lot do is bitch about the XDA, i mean c'mon, 1: the xda 3 DOES NOT EXIST (u mean the xda 2s), 2: the list goes XDA 1, XDA 2, XDA 2s, XDA 2i, no xda 3, okay. Fraser is right (comment no 5), and so am I. the xda 2s has a slideout keyboard and is black the xda 2i is the same looks as the xda 2, (but the 2i has a silver camara), if you have any comments get your facts right before you post them.
