Napster To Go now on AT&T Wireless
Despite their new Cingular mommy, AT&T
Wireless continues to add services and phones. Users of the
Audiovox SMT 5600 Smartphone (the current hotness in
smartphones) can now sign up for Napter To Go and download songs on their phone. Yay. The catch? It's
$14.95 a month, and the phone only has 28.5MB of RAM (of course, you could buy a 512MB miniSD expansion card).
Apparently, the phone will also support individual tracks downloaded by regular Napster subscribers. While we
like the idea of being able to download songs on the go, we don't like the idea of doing it over standard wireless
connections for $14.95 a month.

That is the most inane comment I've heard in a while. Being able to download over 800,000 songs and take them to go... for the cost of 1 CD a month! That is amazing value. I can use this and change out the music every day at no additional incremental cost to me beyond the $15. It sucks that the phone has so little memory, but the phones will improve and catch up to the amazing services being offered by Napster and the other portable subscriptions.

I think you are confused. It doesn't download songs over wireless.
I have the SMT 5600 and I would like to know where to get the 512MB mini SD card mentioned!
And yes you can download songs over wireless onto the phone.
