Motoman Robobar makes drinks and doesn't complain about tips
Motoman have crafted Robobar, a giant bar robot that uses a magnetic card authorization scheme to pay for drinks (imagine that line of drunks). Once validated for more drinkage (does the card line have a breathalyzer?), you choose a drink on a touch screen and watch as robobar creates the perfect (read: watered down) vodka tonic. You then get the drink slid to you on a robo-lazy-susan through a bank-like window. Not quite as hot as that bartender at your local watering hole who gives you that extra splash of Ketel One, but hey - it's silver. Silver!

I bet this thing would be alot more popular if it had boobs
Anyone else think it is bizarre that motoman's other products are shirts and other clothing items?
I can see this being a great way to encourage underage drinking. Just find a friend over 21 and use his magnetic card to buy your drinks with.
One question: What about buy-backs??
The "you've had too much to drink, bud" algorithm is probably based on the bot simply limiting the available booze to one ounce per hour per card holder.
You don't need robots and cards to have someone older buy you booze-- a flesh bartender works fine for this.
I just spent a week at Motomans facility in Dayton, OH doing programming training and had to make my coffee by hand all week, whats up with that!
